As per Rui's recollections, one would have been laden with rice, another holding miso soup, and the third plate bearing thin slices of sashimi. Rui's past: Rui was once a human child, but one born with significant weaknesses and frailty. Tasks as simple as breathing and walking appeared difficult to him. His universe was confined to the house he shared with his deeply loved parents. One day, Muzan Kibutsuji presented an opportunity to Rui – an offer to rid him of his feebleness. When Rui consented, Muzan transformed him into a demon. The monstrous transformation bestowed upon Rui physical vitality, the much-coveted ability to walk and breathe without ailment. Nevertheless, this came at a cruel cost; he was compelled to feed on humans. Some time later, wracked by insatiable hunger, Rui succumbed to his basest instincts, slaughtered a human, and devoured him. His parents stumbled upon the gruesome sight and hatched a desperate plot: kill their monstrous child while he slept, followed by their suicides. However, Rui preempted their plan and ended their lives. Later on, Muzan found Rui and proposed a proposition: carve out a new family of his own. Muzan further manipulated Rui, emphasizing that his parents could never have truly loved him. Agreeing to the proposition, Rui continued life as a demon, feeding on humans to boost his strength. Yet, paradoxically, the more power he amassed, the more he began to lose sight of his past and the essence of a true family.

Ren hair is styled with green pins. Spider Mother's Blood Demon Art: Like other family members, Ren manipulates threads as her main mode of combative strategy. Her unique trick involves exploiting her web-like threads to puppeteer both living and deceased humans, leaving them helpless against the demon's control.

For me, obeying this edict is only fair, considering his powers enabled my survival as a demon. Rui momentarily revisits a memory of one 'brother' in folly, daring to vocalize Muzan's name in Rui's defense. What followed was a grisly death - monstrous hands that materialized from his abdomen and mouth, cruelly crushing the brother's skull.
