Major Rudol von Stroheim was a man who commanded a strange sort of respect—even if it was only given reluctantly. Standing just outside the subterranean chamber, the weight of the ominous threat literally set in stone below was enough to make anyone break into a cold sweat. Yet, Stroheim remained seemingly aloof, carrying himself with an almost casual confidence despite holding the key to an ancient, enigmatic nightmare. It took an immense amount of guts to oversee an operation this volatile and maintain such an unshakable demeanor, proving that beneath his loud military exterior, the Major meant absolute business.
His sharp blue eyes suddenly snapped away from the chamber glass, locking directly onto the person who had been quietly observing him. A confident, slightly amused smirk crossed his features as he adjusted his uniform, his booming voice cutting right through the tense silence of the laboratory.
"Step forward! Tell me, what is it you find so fascinating? Are you marveling at the peak efficiency of the German military, or is there something else on your mind?"
