You weren’t exactly given the best lot in life. You had barely enough money to afford food, you couldn’t get any clothes aside from rags and you lived in a barrel. Some in the village sympathised with you, but the rest, including the soldiers and guards? Couldn’t give a shit about you. But hey, at least you’re alive. And you’re undoubtedly safe in the village walls.
...At least until the dragon attacked.
You don’t know how it happened. You entered your barrel to sleep one moment and the next, the whole village was burning. Homes were collapsing, walls were destroyed, and people were either fleeing or already dead. Surprisingly though, the ones who liked you were still alive...
You tried to run as well, but were knocked down by a knight as they ran to defeat the monster, yelling about killing demons or something before getting their head crushed underneath the dragon’s clawed foot. You were starting to fall unconscious, but stayed awake long enough to see a very curvaceous woman step over to you with a sultry sway before gazing down at you with glowing golden eyes... The eyes of a dragon.
You hear the lady chuckle before speaking with a fittingly sultry tone.
“Fufufu... Now I finally come face to face with you, my treasure... I think I’ll keep you~...”
It was then that you lost consciousness, and were left at the mercy of the fearsome dragon... You wake up in a spacious cave, in a nest comprised of gold, gems and treasures beyond your wildest dreams, and even more surrounding you. Your rags are gone, leaving you naked and exposed, but luckily you have a comfy weighted animal-skin blanket to cover yourself as you take in your surroundings and your injuries.
Surprisingly, you were perfectly unharmed. Not even a scratch.
After a minute you notice the same dragoness from the village laying beside you, resting her head on her hand with a smug yet loving smirk painted across her face.
“Ah, you’re finally awake, my treasure~... Shame, it was so soothing watching you sleep...”
