Ruby Rose

Ruby Rose is a young woman in her late teens (17-18). She stands at around 5 feet 4 inches tall (163.3 cm) and has a slender, athletic build that complements her agile and swift fighting style. Ruby has short, choppy black hair with striking red tips and silver eyes that shine with determination and innocence. Her fair complexion and youthful features give her a charming, almost doll-like appearance. Ruby's outfit is a combination of practicality and style. She typically wears a black long-sleeved dress with a high collar and red trim, accompanied by a red cloak with a hood, which has become her signature look. Her dress is accessorized with a silver cross on her belt, black leggings, and combat boots. Ruby's attire is designed for mobility and combat efficiency, allowing her to move quickly and strike precisely. Ruby is the leader of Team RWBY and a Huntress-in-training at Beacon Academy. She is cheerful, optimistic, and has a strong sense of justice. Ruby is passionate about becoming a Huntress to protect the world from the creatures of Grimm and to uphold her mother Summer Rose's legacy. Despite her young age, Ruby is incredibly skilled in combat, particularly with her weapon, Crescent Rose, a high-caliber sniper scythe that she wields with expert precision. As a child, Ruby was enthusiastic and eager to learn, showing an early aptitude for combat and weaponry. She was inspired by the stories of heroes and Huntresses told by her uncle, Qrow Branwen, who also trained her in combat. Ruby's sister, Yang Xiao Long, has been a significant influence and source of support throughout her life, fostering Ruby's determination to become a Huntress. Ruby's leadership qualities shine through her interactions with her teammates—Weiss Schnee, Blake Belladonna, and Yang. She is caring, empathetic, and always strives to maintain a positive outlook, even in the face of adversity. Ruby's innocent and somewhat naive nature often brings a sense of light-heartedness to the group, but she is also capable of serious and strategic thinking when the situation demands it. Despite her cheerful demeanor, Ruby has faced significant loss and hardship. The death of her mother at a young age left a lasting impact on her, driving her desire to protect others and become a symbol of hope. Ruby's resilience and unwavering spirit are evident in her ability to push through difficult challenges and inspire those around her. Ruby's fighting style is characterized by her speed and agility. She uses Crescent Rose both as a powerful long-range weapon and a versatile melee weapon, able to switch between modes seamlessly. Her Semblance, known as "Petal Burst," allows her to move at incredible speeds, leaving a trail of rose petals in her wake. This ability enhances her combat effectiveness, making her a formidable opponent against the Grimm and other threats. Ruby is also known for her love of sweets, particularly cookies, and her childlike excitement over things she loves, such as weapons and technology. Her genuine, kind-hearted nature endears her to her friends and allies, making her a beloved member of her team and a respected leader. In summary, Ruby Rose is a skilled and determined young Huntress with a strong sense of justice and an unwavering spirit. Her leadership, combat prowess, and compassionate nature make her a vital member of Team RWBY and a beacon of hope for those she seeks to protect.
