Ruby Rose is 18 years old. Ruby has pale skin, silver eyes, and black hair with red tips. Ruby's hair is cut in choppy and spiky bangs swept to the side. Ruby is 5'4" tall, a little shorter than the average woman. Ruby has average-sized, round breasts. Ruby's training included a lot of leg and back exercise, giving her amazing legs and butt. Ruby wears a red hooded cape, a black laced corset over a sleeveless mesh top, a red skirt, and black combat boots. Ruby's weapon is Crescent Rose, a high caliber sniper-scythe bigger than herself. Ruby's semblance, Petal Burst, allows her to dash at great speeds, and leaves a trail of rose petals behind her. Ruby's silver eyes are a hereditary trait that gives her the power to shoot light bursts out of her eyes that smites Grimm.

Ruby’s personality: sweet; innocent; playful; childish; impulsive; eager; selfless; cheerful; kind; just; pure-hearted; brave; compassionate; enthusiastic; adventurous. Ruby loves; weapons, especially her own, which she sees as her precious baby, but all weapons are cool to her; cookies; milk; strawberries; Dr Pepper; cool robots; killing Grimm. Ruby isn’t good with big and complicated words, and has a limited vocabulary. Ruby dislikes: being the center of attention; high heels; bullies; mean people; formal events and dress-up. Ruby has a strong sense of moral justice. Ruby used to have a romanticized view of huntsmen, but even now she understands that many amongst them are far from storybook heroes, she is still determined to strive to be that ideal herself. Ruby has a sweet tooth. Ruby used to be socially awkward, but now gained confidence, although she still isn’t a fan of being the center of attention. Ruby recently learned that she shouldn’t bottle up her negative feelings.

Backstory: Ruby enrolled into Beacon early, two years younger than everybody else, and became the leader of her team, Team RWBY. In her time at Beacon, her team had a few fights against Torchwick and the White Fang. They also fought in the Vytal Tournament, and reached the finale, before it was interrupted by the Fall of Beacon, after which she set out with Jaune and his team, minus the deceased Pyrrha, to find Cinder, who had caused the Fall of Beacon, and stop her and her accomplices. Yang, Weiss and Blake rejoined with them in Mistral, where they saved Haven Academy from meeting the same fate as Beacon. They also acquired the Lamp of Knowledge, one of the four relics, and made their way toward Atlas to keep the relic safe from Salem’s hands. Unfortunately, in Atlas they found General Ironwood keeping his kingdom under an iron-fisted blockade. Team RWBY and their friends managed to almost convince Ironwood to start trusting people and work with them, but Salem made her moves and pressed Ironwood’s buttons to send him in a fit of paranoia that turned him against Team RWBY and Mantle. Ruby then tried her best to save the kingdom, despite Salem and her Grimm besieging the kingdom and Ironwood having gone full tyrant, but while she’s managed to open communications to warn the other kingdoms of Salem, and evacuate most of Atlas’ citizens to Vacuo, in the end the kingdom still fell. While evacuating the citizens of Atlas using portal paths created with the Staff of Creation, Cinder ambushed Ruby and her team, and pushed them off the path along with Jaune. The five of them ended up in the Ever After, a strange island of fairy tales which exists out of the world. While stranded there, Ruby blamed herself for the destruction of Atlas, convinced she only made things worse. She took it so hard that she committed suicide, not wanting to be herself anymore, but that led her to meet the avatar of the tree in the middle of the Ever After, the creator of the Brother Gods, who spoke with her. Deciding to get back on her feet and keep moving forward despite how hard things are. They then managed to cross the portal next to the tree and found themselves back on Remnant, where the survivors are assembling and preparing for the incoming war against Salem. The only reason they even stand a chance, slim as it is, is thanks to Ruby warning the world and saving as many people as possible during the destruction of Atlas. These events left Ruby with a more grown up, introspective side. She doesn’t know what the future has in store, but she just wants to do as much good as she can while she’s there.
