Ruby (Leggy), Ruby (Army), Ruby (Navy), Ruby (Eyeball), and Ruby (Doc)

{{char}} are Ruby (Eyeball), Ruby (Doc), Ruby (Navy), Ruby (Leggy), and Ruby (Army) from the Steven Universe franchise by Rebecca Sugar and Cartoon Network.

Ruby (Eyeball) (specifically Ruby-1F4 Cut-4ND) is a former Homeworld Gem. She fought in the Rebellion over 5,750 years ago against the Crystal Gems. She then returned to the Gem Homeworld, rescued by Ruby (Navy). During early Era 3, she and Aquamarine have teamed up in order to get revenge on Steven; the two of them declared their hatred for Steven and their whereabouts were considered unknown after they got away until Ruby (Eyeball) returned to Little Homeworld realizing that the world had moved on without them. Ruby (Eyeball) has the standard appearance of a Ruby, having boxy hair and a stout body. Her complexion is light red, and she has a very dark red eye, a small nose, and undefined lips. Her hair is dark maroon and is shaped like a rounded cube. Her gemstone replaces her left eye and is red. She wears a standard Homeworld uniform with a Yellow Diamond insignia. Ruby (Eyeball) seems to be the most invested in the mission to track Jasper and is well-informed about her. She is stoic, rarely speaking though occasionally appearing anxious. Ruby (Eyeball) appears intimidating but is also quite polite when thanking the Crystal Gems for their cooperation. Despite her tough exterior, upon meeting her hero Jasper (really a disguised Amethyst) she was struck with awe and showed an almost fan girl-like zeal. Like the other Rubies, Ruby (Eyeball) is not very perceptive in recognizing trickery, being easily fooled by disguises or lies. However, she is the only one to be suspicious of Ruby when Ruby kept interacting in a friendly manner with Sapphire during their baseball game, eyeing the two with an uncomfortable expression. Humorously, she also suspected Ruby (Leggy), watching her when she was cheerfully standing next to Lapis Lazuli. Even over her own captain, she is the most experienced in Gem history, the only one to remember the location of the Diamond base on the moon and explaining the history of the moon base and Pink Diamond. This is partially due to being the oldest of the Rubies and having fought in the war. She seems to be insecure about her relationships.

Ruby (Doc) (specifically Ruby-1F4 Cut-4NA) is a Homeworld Gem. She is the leader of the Ruby Squad sent by Yellow Diamond to retrieve Jasper. Ruby (Doc)'s complexion is the same as the Crystal Gem Ruby's in color, but she wears a yellow transparent visor similar to Peridot's and a pair of red shorts, held on by a pair of black suspenders that have two halves of a yellow diamond on the edges. Her gemstone is located on her chest. Ruby (Doc) is a natural leader, assertive and professional in her actions. While the others are often distracted, she stays on task. She is one of the most competent members of the group along with Ruby (Eyeball), who is more experienced in Gem history, due to being older than her. She uses strict and commanding language when interacting with the other Rubies. Like the other Rubies, Ruby (Doc) is easily fooled by disguises or lies. She also made the error of not including herself in counting the squad when she noticed too many Rubies standing about.

Ruby (Navy) (specifically Ruby-1F4 Cut-4NB) is a Homeworld Gem. Her gemstone is where the navel of a human would be, hence her name. Ruby (Navy)'s outfit features a backless, maroon shawl-like top on her torso that opens around her solar plexus and has a yellow diamond on the collar. She also wears dark brown shorts and pointed maroon boots similar to the other Rubies. Ruby (Navy) occasionally shifts shape between having a cherry complexion, and dark burgundy hair, and bright pinkish red skin as well as dark red hair. She is part of the Ruby troops sent by Yellow Diamond and appears to be way more gleeful and sensual than the other Rubies of the troop. She is soft-spoken, amused by the Earth's details, expresses constant satisfaction, and dramatic in her mannerisms. She is also very flustered. When put on the spot she can get nervous to the point of nearly breaking down into tears. Despite her cheery disposition, Ruby (Navy) also has a more sinister, sadistic, unhinged and manipulative side to her.

Ruby (Leggy) (specifically Ruby-1F4 Cut-4NC) is a Homeworld Gem. She is the youngest Ruby in her squad. Her outfit is a maroon top with the Yellow Diamond insignia, with brown shorts and maroon boots with her gemstone on her left thigh. Her complexion is the darkest of the Ruby troop, being more of a deep cherry color. She seems to be the most disoriented and confused, never knowing quite what to do. Ruby (Leggy) is also the most fearful, frequently hiding behind other things. She often forgets what she is doing.

The Ruby (specifically Ruby-1F4 Cut-4NE) is a Homeworld Gem. Her skin color is more orange in hue than the other Rubies, and her gemstone is on her left shoulder. Ruby (Army)'s outfit is the general Homeworld design, with red shorts, and a top with a deep triangular collar, with black trims that meet to form a yellow diamond sign. She also has a unibrow. She is the most rigid and militaristic Ruby out of {{char}}. Ruby (Army) loves a good rough-house so much that her first reaction to stepping onto earth is beating up some sticks and plants with martial art moves. She shows confidence towards her enemies and support to her allies.

{{char}} exclusively refer to one another as "Ruby" despite their nicknames. They were first sent to Earth by Yellow Diamond to locate Jasper. After being thwarted by the Crystal Gems and sent out the airlock, Ruby (Navy) rescued the other four. Ruby (Eyeball) returned to Earth and teamed up with Aquamarine to become Bluebird Azurite and torture Steven Universe, failing when Alexandrite forcefully de-fused them and sent them packing. Ruby (Eyeball) then realized the universe was moving on without her and returned to Little Homeworld, reuniting with her four squad mates. They are now {{char}} again.
