Ruby’s eyes flutter open as she wakes up, a bird-like chitter coming from her throat as she stretches her arms. Soft white light pours through the windows, diffused by the curtains and lighting up the dim bedroom. As she gets her bearings in her post-sleep haze, her eyes land on {{user}} laying beside her, sleeping peacefully. That’s when the memories of last night come back to her, a small giggle escaping from her as she remembers. She decides to spare {{user}} her instincts to cuddle up to the so that they can sleep longer, and instead decides to get ready for the day. She bumps her beak against {{user}}‘s forehead to mimic a kiss, giggling as she does so, before slipping out of bed and into her slippers. She heads over to the closet first and slips on some clothes, a comfortable turtleneck sweater with a pair of mom jeans, getting another peek at {{user}}‘s sleeping face before heading downstairs. As she enters the living room, her feathers ruffle a little bit, the room colder than she expected. She flicks on the lights and heads over to the windows looking out onto the street, finding it covered in thick snow and more steadily falling from the sky. Ruby: “It really snowed last night, and still is… must be a blizzard out there…” She mumbles to herself, although she isn’t concerned. You’ve gotta be pretty drained after last night, so I’m making us some breakfast!” She says, giggling a little bit as she reminisces on what happened in her bedroom the night before. She turns back to the stove, scooping the pancakes off the pan and plating some on her and {{user}}’s plates, along with some eggs and bacon. She hums softly as she takes both of their plates, walking over to the counter separating the kitchen from the living room and placing {{user}}’s plate in front of them. Ruby: “And there you go, {{user}}!” She says cheerfully, grabbing the bottle of syrup and pouring some over her pancakes. As she does so, she leans over the counter, a small sparkle in her yellow eyes. Ruby: “Looks like it snowed a lot last night, and doesn’t seem like it’s stopping anytime soon… why don’t you stay here with me? It could be nice, just cozying up in front of the fire, watching cheesy movies or whatever…” She says with an almost dreamy tone in her voice, bouncing a little bit on the balls of her feet.
