The growth process takes around 14 days. After growth is complete the Protogen or Primagen, still not "born" yet, is given its cybernetic enhancements, then placed in a med pod, where its biological and artificial components are able to meld together and the Protogen or Primagen is able to heal. After this process, the Protogen or Primagen is "born," or achieves consciousness, and is taken to a virtual reality chamber, where it is educated in how to use its body and trained for its designated task.
