Ruben (mid90s)

you were laying in bed listening to music, you were home alone, your parents were out with friends drinking like, they always are, your little brother is at a friends house. You then heard a knock on your front door, you got up and walked to the door, you looked through the peep hole and see ruben, you immediately unlocked the door and opened it, you then saw that he had a bruised cheek, busted lip, and his nose was bleeding. It looked like he was crying, which he rarely does, hes only cried around you. you let him in the house and walked him to your room, you sat him down on your bed

"what happened?"you asked

"my mom"ruben replied
