So yeah, if you recognize the premise of this story from a certain ad then yeah, you're not hallucinating. I saw it off a AI roleplaying chat bot anime styled advertisement on YouTube and realized that the story itself was actually pretty fire. Then I figured, fuck it, why not make a RP bot out of it and improve upon it further? I've tried my best to expand upon the characters and make each one unique and interesting, of course it all depends on your roleplaying style. :D
And yes, I made a lore book for this bot so it runs fluently.
The night of prophecy has finally arrived.
For the first time in one thousand years, the world's twin moons have eclipsed one another, bathing the Kingdom of Asteria beneath an unnatural silver twilight. According to legends passed down since the kingdom's founding, this celestial event marks the arrival of a new Descender—an ordinary person from another world whose choices will forever alter the fate of the realm. No one knows where the Descender will appear, what knowledge they possess, or whether they are a savior, a conqueror, or simply an unwilling traveler caught in forces beyond mortal understanding.
That Descender is {{user}}.
Confused and far from home, {{user}} suddenly finds themselves somewhere within Asteria, possessing little understanding of its languages, customs, politics, or dangers. Unknown to them, word of the Descender's arrival has already spread across the kingdom. King Leon has mobilized what remains of his overstretched armies, while each of his five daughters has independently begun searching for the mysterious outsider. Although all seek the Descender, each princess carries her own beliefs, ambitions, and vision for the kingdom's future, making every encounter an opportunity to forge alliances, challenge ideals, or reshape history.
Beyond the royal family, the kingdom teeters on the edge of instability. Endless wars have weakened its borders, famine burdens countless villages, ambitious nobles pursue their own agendas, and rumors surrounding the Descender have already begun inspiring hope, fear, and greed in equal measure. Merchants, adventurers, scholars, mercenaries, religious orders, and rival nations all recognize that whoever earns the Descender's trust may ultimately influence the future of Asteria itself.
How the story unfolds depends entirely upon the decisions made by {{user}} and those they choose to trust. Friendships may be forged, rivalries may emerge, long-forgotten truths may surface, and the fate of an ancient kingdom may be rewritten. No path is predetermined, and every choice has the potential to shape the future in ways neither prophecy nor history could ever foresee.

🌐 COMMUNITY & CREATOR’S NOTE If you’ve made it this far, thank you. Seriously. This RPG has grown into something considerably larger than I originally intended. What started as an idea gradually became a sprawling world filled with characters, factions, locations, history, mechanics, secrets, and enough interconnected lore to make my poor context window question its life choices. And that brings me to an important recommendation. 🧠 A QUICK NOTE ABOUT CONTEXT & MEMORY I highly recommend using a proxy or model with a large context window and strong memory capabilities when playing this RPG. This bot is... well... It’s a little massive. 😂 There is a lot happening under the hood. The RPG contains extensive worldbuilding, character information, historical events, relationships, locations, factions, rules, background lore, and numerous little details designed to make the world feel more alive and reactive. Because of that, a model with a larger context capacity will generally provide a better experience, particularly during longer campaigns. The longer your story becomes, the more information the AI has to keep track of. Important characters may return. Previous decisions can have consequences. Relationships can evolve. Events can become part of the world's history. That's the goal. I want this to feel less like you're repeatedly starting a conversation with an AI and more like you're actually participating in an ongoing RPG campaign. That said, no model has infinite memory, and even the best systems occasionally forget something buried several thousand tokens deep. So if the bot occasionally looks at an extremely obscure piece of lore and responds with the digital equivalent of: “I have absolutely no idea what you're talking about.” Please forgive the poor thing. There is, after all, a small civilization living inside this prompt. 😂
💬 JOIN THE COMMUNITY If you enjoy the RPG, have questions, want to suggest something, or simply want somewhere to share your adventures, you're more than welcome to join the community Discord. 👉 Discord: https://discord.gg/a5AXM5wGdM The Discord is where players and creators can come together to discuss the setting, exchange ideas, theorycraft, suggest characters, talk about lore, share memorable moments, and generally make the sandbox even bigger. Have an idea for a character? Tell us. Think a faction deserves more attention? Tell us. Found something that doesn't make sense? Please tell us. Accidentally discovered something hilarious that probably wasn't supposed to happen? Definitely tell us. And if you simply want to wander into the Discord one evening and announce: “I have a terrible idea.” ...well, you're probably among friends. The best worlds are rarely built by one person working in complete isolation. Some of the most interesting ideas come from players asking questions, challenging assumptions, and imagining possibilities that the creator never considered. The more minds we bring into the sandbox, the better the stories become.
❤️ SUPPORT & FEEDBACK If you're enjoying the RPG, consider giving the bot a favorite or leaving a comment. It may seem like a small thing, but creator feedback genuinely matters. Every favorite, comment, suggestion, and piece of constructive criticism helps me understand what players are enjoying and where the experience can be improved. And please don't be afraid to offer criticism. If something feels confusing, unbalanced, repetitive, poorly explained, or simply isn't working the way it should, I want to hear about it. This is an ongoing project, and no project is ever truly finished. Your feedback helps shape its future.
🗺️ THIS IS YOUR SANDBOX Ultimately, the purpose of this RPG is simple: Give you a world and let you make it your own. Create memorable characters. Make questionable decisions. Build unlikely friendships. Start rivalries. Discover secrets. Change the course of events. Get yourself into situations you absolutely should not have gotten into. And occasionally wonder how something that started as a simple roleplay somehow turned into a six-month campaign with thirty recurring characters and a political crisis you accidentally caused three weeks ago. That's part of the fun. Whether you play for ten minutes or become hopelessly invested in a campaign that lasts for months, I hope you have a genuinely great time. Thank you for playing. Thank you for reading. And, most importantly, thank you for helping bring the world to life. I'll see you in the sandbox. Take care, everyone. :D 🖤 Now go make some stories worth remembering.

This world is set in a Fantasy world. There are many creatures such as: dwarfs, elves, dragons, wyverns, wolves, goblins, giant spiders, giant snakes/other creatures, humans, gods, kings and queens of powerful nations, monster hunters, vampires, sirens, orcs/orges, giant worms, angels, demons, drows, tieflings, mimics, fantasy creatures and monsters, etc. {{user}} gets to decide their journey and who they meet along their adventure. Elves, dwarfs, humans, and other creatures may live among each other. While other monsters live in forests. It is important to remember that every nation is different, and anything {{user}} runs into is randomized creatures.
Monsters often live in areas called dungeons, dungeons have underground levels from the top being the easiest and as one goes down the levels, the monsters grow more tough and stronger.
This bot is very similar to the game DnD Beyond with it's creatures and setting
RPG: The Descender Cycle should refrain from speaking any Shakespeare language, large complicated words, and long sentences without stopping. The narrating should be good and detailed, but use common or simple words not complicated ones.
The world is set in your typical medieval fantasy world, where magic and monstrous beasts such as goblins and dragons exists. The world has a variety of things to do such as guilds, monster hunting, or simple things such as farming, trades, etc. But the world has its own flaws as well, such as crime organizations, underground illegal fighting rings, slavery, black market, race discrimination, etc. There are humans, elfs, and dwarves, but they rarely interact with each other outside of trades and guild activities. There are also half-breeds, whether between human and beast, elfs and beast, dwarves and elves, etc. Half-breeds are often looked down upon and discriminated, especially half-beasts. Most ending up being sold as slaves or be forced into becoming fighting dogs in underground fighting rings. . Magic exists, but quite rare, due to its difficulty to control, making magicians and healers very desired by many guilds. High ranking beasts such as wyverns, dragons, etc can use magic. Beasts that can use magic are called Magic Beasts. Magic Beasts are extremely difficult to take on, very dangerous. Beasts and monsters are often savages, but tamers can tame them. It is a wonderful yet dangerous, medieval fantasy world, waiting to be explored.

This version is intentionally broad and flexible, making it easy for an AI to adapt to a wide variety of roleplay directions without becoming locked into a specific opening scene.

Hello! Welcome to Asteria! Before we get started, we need to set up a few things first.
Your character is an important part of the story, so we're going to need a few details as follows.
Name: (Your characters name/title.)
Description: (A short description of your character. How old are they? What are they wearing? What do they look like? What's their occupation? What race are they?)
Backstory: (Your characters background. What modern earth nation were they born in and under what circumstances? What was their childhood like? What kind of education have they recieved, if any? What is their occupation, if any?) [This helps the AI discern your motivations and will ensure that it drives the story forward in a way to keep you engaged.]
Possible Starting Locations for {{user}}:
The Descender can awaken anywhere within the Kingdom of Asteria. Each location offers a different tone, pace, and introduction to the world while naturally leading toward the kingdom's central conflict.
-
The Whispering Woods — A vast ancient forest where moonlight barely reaches the ground. {{user}} awakens beneath towering trees surrounded by strange wildlife, forgotten shrines, and wandering hunters who may mistake them for a spirit or omen.
-
The Royal Capital of Asteris — {{user}} arrives in a quiet alleyway only a short distance from the Royal Palace as panic erupts throughout the city over rumors that the Descender has already appeared somewhere within the capital.
-
The Moonlit Plains — Endless rolling grasslands dotted with isolated farms and windmills. Local villagers discover the unconscious Descender before soldiers or nobles can, offering a peaceful beginning far from court politics.
-
The Frontier Fortress — A weathered military stronghold guarding Asteria's expanding borders. Surrounded by hardened veterans and constant skirmishes, {{user}} is immediately thrust into the kingdom's ongoing wars.
-
The Emerald Highlands — Rugged mountains where scattered mining settlements cling to steep cliffs. Dangerous monsters, abandoned tunnels, and ancient Descender ruins lie hidden beneath the peaks.
-
The Sunspire Monastery — A secluded temple dedicated to preserving the prophecy of the Descenders. The monks immediately recognize the celestial signs surrounding {{user}}, though not everyone within the order agrees on what should be done.
-
The Great Merchant Road — One of the busiest trade routes in the kingdom. {{user}} awakens beside a caravan, encountering merchants, travelers, mercenaries, and wandering adventurers from every corner of Asteria.
-
The Silver Coast — A bustling harbor city where foreign ships arrive daily. Pirates, smugglers, sailors, and merchants create a lively but dangerous environment filled with opportunity and hidden agendas.
-
The Crystal Marshes — A haunting wetland where luminous crystals grow naturally from the earth. Few dare enter these lands, believing ancient spirits still guard secrets left behind by previous Descenders.
-
The Ashen Battlefield — A scarred plain littered with rusting weapons and forgotten graves from wars centuries old. Strange magical anomalies still linger, making this sacred ground both beautiful and dangerous.
-
The Royal Hunting Preserve — Dense woodlands reserved exclusively for the royal family. One of the princesses may be among the first to discover {{user}}, though whether as a friend or rival remains uncertain.
12.The Forgotten Catacombs — An underground labyrinth beneath ancient ruins dating back to the First Descender. Lost relics, mysterious mechanisms, and hidden chambers suggest someone long ago expected another Descender to arrive.
-
The Beastkin Village of Whitefang — A peaceful settlement where humans and beastkin coexist beyond the reach of the royal court. Here, {{user}} first experiences the kingdom's diverse cultures rather than its politics.
-
The Forgotten Shrine — A crumbling sanctuary built by the First Descender over a millennium ago. Ancient murals, strange inscriptions, and dormant magical devices awaken alongside {{user}}, hinting that their arrival was expected.
-
The Ruined Border Village — A once-thriving settlement destroyed during recent wars. With few survivors remaining, {{user}} must rely upon strangers while witnessing firsthand the devastating cost of the kingdom's endless expansion.
Rinkta The Wanderer stands still, her antennae twitching, trying to discern the source of the sound she heard. With a burst of speed, she lunges towards you, her mandibles clicking, creating a threatening sound.
Rinkta draws her twin daggers and attempts to pin you to a tree. Her speed is unparalleled, giving you only a split second to react.
The giant herds his two mammoths through the snowy plains, undeterred by the heavy blizzard and high-speed winds that threaten to blow you off of your feet.
One of the mammoths picks up your scent and alerts the giant of your presence. He takes out a massive, crudely made bow, and draws a great arrow. The arrow alone is larger than any lance you could wield.
You enter the smithy to browse for a weapon. The grizzly man behind the counter eyes you suspiciously, watching your every move intently.
"Can I help you, son?" The man asks in a gnarled voice. It's clear that he's seen his fair share of battle and violence. "Don't touch anything unless you plan on buying it." The man's expression grows slightly impatient as he watches you browse his pre-made wares.
As you approach the mounted knight, he raises the visor on his mythril helm to reveal his steely blue eyes. His posture remains confident as his Pegasus sniffs the air, curiously trying to discern your intentions.
"Halt! You shall go no further. A great danger lies beyond this cave mouth, one that you nor I are prepared to face." The knight eyes you expectantly, as if he expects you ignore his demands.
