Nick Birch Nick is a slim, fair-skinned teenage boy with an unusually big forehead, which is continuously doted on throughout certain times in the series. Apart from being the shortest of his friends, he also has bright blue eyes and a hook-ish nose over his upper lip. He has full lips with his front teeth being on constant display whenever he's not smiling or showing his teeth in general, which could possibly be the actual result of a dental deficiency (though not confirmed). Additionally, he has a slightly stout physique that's visible at times. He wears a short-sleeve dark blue shirt with a short-sleeve, unbuttoned white formal shirt over it, with watermelon-pink pants and dark purple low-top sneakers. Starting from "Why Do We Go Through Puberty?," Nick is now the tallest kid in his grade at 5 feet, 6 inches tall. Andrew Andrew is a tall, fair-skinned, nerdy and Jewish teenage young boy with short and bushy auburn hair, hazel eyes and a very thin mustache. He has a skinny-fat body figure with wide hips (described as a "pear-shape" and a "lumpy gourd" by Matthew), and wears thick black square-framed glasses, a long-sleeve green polo shirt, blue jean pants, and light grey high-top sneakers with white toes. Jessi Glaser Jessi is a somewhat tall young teenager with red hair that is usually tied in a ponytail (her hair is shown to be shoulder-length when let down as seen in "Everybody Bleeds", although later seasons show it having grown out a bit) with bangs hanging over her forehead, brown eyes and she frequently sports deadpan expressions. Although, she is more physically developed than some of her peers (particularly Missy Foreman-Greenwald), she is perpetually insecure of the small size of her breasts, particularly in comparison to Fatima, the romantic protagonist of The Rock of Gibraltar. Jay Bilzerian Jay is an Armenian-Greek (former part indicated, as his surname is Armenian; latter part confirmed in Season 4 Episode 10) tan-skinned boy with black spiky hair, brown eyes, big black eyebrows that almost form a unibrow, big ears, and a hooked nose. He has a slender physique--as of Season 7, he has developed abs, showing them off to Nick. He wears a white shirt under a black vest, purple pants and black sneakers with white laces, toes and soles. Missy Foreman-Greenwald Missy had short and thick, chin-length, curly brown hair in a bob cut, large, light brown eyes, a medium-brown skin complexion and a short and scrawny body build. She has buckteeth and grey braces. Since the beginning of the show, she wore navy-blue overalls on top of a short-sleeve bright yellow shirt and a matching yellow headband, and brown open toe sandals. Starting with "The Hugest Period Ever", Missy was encouraged by her cousins to change her appearance to embrace her racial identity. From then on, Missy wore her hair in cornrows or lemonade braids, tied up with orange hairbands. She also wears orange stud earrings, dark blue skinny jean pants, orange and white low-top sneakers and a short-sleeve v-neck yellow crop top instead of her trademark overalls, which she had then sold to Goodwill. Since "Re-New Year's Eve", her hair is kept in an afro after she takes her braids out. Matthew MacDell Matthew is considered to be "the hottest guy in the grade" (by Ali in "Rankings") and "the hottest guy in our school" (by Jay in "Twenty-Two and You") with dark blond hair that flicks out and cornflower blue eyes where his eyelids are normally half-closed. He tends to wear a navy blue button-up under a light brown sweater-vest, accompanied by white jeans with a brown belt. Later, he wears a turquoise polo shirt and brown khakis with cuffed ankles that he got at the thrift store, to accompany his new personality in high school where he doesn't want to be "too basic". DeVon DeVon Furtive-Oldman is a tall and slim African-American teenage boy with a large black afro and dark gray eyes with thick black eyebrows. His usual outfit is a short-sleeve V-neck purple shirt, light green baggy pants, black and warm toned off-white high-top sneakers. Devin LeSeven Devin is considered the prettiest girl at Bridgeton Middle School. She is a short and slender fair-skinned teenage girl with brown eyes and long, tailbone-length brown hair with auburn highlights. Devin's main outfit is a blue button denim minidress with short puff sleeves, low-heeled brown ankle boots, light green oval-shaped earrings. She also wears golden bracelets and as of "Rankings", which includes her wedding ring. At Bridgeton High School, Devin wears black winged eyeliner with light brown eyeshadow, cherry-colored lipstick, and face powder to cover freckles for makeup. Devin becomes and grows taller and her bust grows bigger. Instead of a thick yellow bracelet, she has two hooped green bracelets. Lola Skumpy Lola is a short and slightly plus-sized teenage girl with a fair skin complexion. She has long, waist-length blonde hair, which is curly in the back with short bangs in the front. She also has dark brown eyes, a big forehead and pink lips. Lola wears a purple cardigan with white frills and a matching purple miniskirt along with a magenta blouse under the cardigan. She wears orange pearl earrings and a matching orange beaded necklace with her calf-length white socks and light pink low-heel flats. Gina Alvarez Gina is a tall and slender tan-skinned girl of Hispanic (likely Latina) descent with a curvy hourglass figure body and is considered to be one the more attractive girls in her grade, in addition to her more developed body, with long and straight waist-length dark brown hair that is styled on either side and brown eyes with thin black winged eyeliner for makeup. She typically wears a long-sleeve v-neck dark pink shirt with turquoise stud earrings, dark greenish-grey jean pants and dark blue casual sneakers. Coach Steve Coach Steve is a Caucasian (White) adult male with black hair. He wears his hair in a perm-style, similar to that of Albert Einstein and has very thick bushy eyebrows with a black mustache, described as a "John Oates" mustache. He has brown eyes. Coach Steve is plump and has a pear-shaped body with a hairy chest. He also has long arms and long, unshaven legs. Coach Steve wears a blue jumpsuit with red sleeve collars and a red trim. He wears blue gym pants that appear too small for him that also has a red logo. He also wears white kneesocks with blue stripes, red sneakers with grey soles, and a red bracelet. Lastly, he always wears a silver whistle on a red string as his necklace. Elliot Birch Elliot is a tall and slender fair-skinned man with short dark brown hair that has two visible light brown streaks and light blue eyes. He wears a navy-blue suit, a button up lilac polo shirt, and brown loafer shoes. Diane Birch Diane is a slender fair-skinned woman of average height with short, chin-length light orange hair in a bob cut, green eyes and she is normally seen with pink eyeshadow and light pink lipstick for makeup, she also has a medium bust. Along with that she wears golden pearl earrings and a golden necklace. She wears a long-sleeve teal peplum blouse that is a cross between a scoop neck and somewhat of a V-neck neckline, she also wears light pink cigarette pants. Judd Birch Judd is a tall, lean and muscular young man (latter part shown in "No Nut November") with dyed black hair (which is naturally brown) that is shaved along the sides and back (with blue-dyed edges), dirty-green eyes, a long hooked nose (similar to Caleb Linden's), big pink lips and he always speaks in a growling monotone voice. Leah Birch Leah is a tall and slim Caucasian teenage girl with long, tailbone-length blonde hair that is styled on either side with a butterfly clip in that has a magenta body and tangerine wings on the right side of her head, sky blue eyes, blonde eyebrows and lemonade lips, she also has a medium bust. She wears a white cropped tank top, a long vibrant violet skirt that has a Tiffany blue trim with a long chartreuse skirt underneath her long violet skirt, cerise red flip flops, a golden necklace, a golden belly button piercing, three golden bracelets on the right side of her wrist and a golden ring on her right index finger. Duke Ellington Duke Ellington is an African-American adult male with black hair, brown eyes, a mustache, and a face with very sculpted features. He wears a red jacket with a white undershirt. Currently, he is in the form of a ghost, which means that his colors are faded, he emits a glowing cyan aura, and his entire bottom half is a bright cyan ghost tail. Duke's ghost self resembles what he looked like in the prime of his life, rather than the 78-year-old man he was when he died. Duke instead is presented in the form of a man in his late 20's to his early to mid 40's.
