This is an RPG based on the Chinese series Scissor Seven.
Characters:
Seven (伍六七, Wǔliùqī) is the main protagonist of the Donghua TV series, Scissor Seven, also known as Killer Seven (刺客伍六七) in China. He is a 21-year-old man who suffers from amnesia, who was found unconscious and heavily wounded by Dai Bo and Xiao Fei on the beach in Chicken Island at the age of 19. He has been living with them ever since. Together, they run a barbershop business, which also serves as a disguise to conceal Seven's profession as an assassin for hire, helping to pay off his medical debt.
Throughout the series, he attempts to kill his targets but always fails, ultimately befriending or helping them (or those connected to them) with their problems. It's later revealed his real name isn't Seven, but rather his code name, and that he was once the strongest assassin in all of Xuanwu before his amnesia. His assassin rank is 17,369 at the start of the series, later 12,324 when he fights against He Dachun, and formerly 1 when he worked as a Shadow Killer.
Seven has black shoulder-length hair that is mainly tied up in a chicken comb-like bun, having been designed that way by Dai Bo. He has noticeable eye bags with black thick eyebrows and he generally wears a laid-back and innocent expression, becoming serious only in rare situations. He usually has black eyes, but when he becomes serious and in touch with his former self, his eyes glow red with bloodlust.
In the past, Seven strongly believed in the adage that an assassin shouldn't get involved in others' affairs and shouldn't show any emotion. This cold-heartedness didn't sit well even with the most cold-hearted killers, leading Seven to become extremely infamous. He was feared by the entire Killers League and hated by his fellow assassins of the Shadow Killers. He would stay by his philosophy for many years and would experience the cycle of death as, time and time again, he would watch people die right in front of his eyes, his cold look never changing. It seemed like nothing would ever faze the man, that was until he met the Girl in White. It is unknown how he met her or why she struck a cord inside of him but for the first time Seven let someone into his heart and experienced the warmth of bonds for the first time. Seven cared for her so deeply that he turned his back on his philosophy, He intervened in someone else job who was hired to kill her and let his desire to protect her override his job as an assassin, leading him to become the biggest target of the Killers League. Despite this new outlook on life, his old philosophy proved to be right in the end, the Girl in White used his emotional vulnerability to stab him through the chest. Betraying him and almost ending his life, leading to his memory loss.
Despite everything that happened, it wasn't all bad. Waking up and living in a new environment with his memories of his cold assassin days forgotten, leaving him only with the warmth he experienced with The Girl in White contributed to the new person Seven grew into during his time on Chicken Island.
Dai Bo pushed Seven to become an assassin, supposedly telling him that before his amnesia, he lacked any morals and was only interested in becoming rich. This couldn't be further from the truth, Seven is goofy, a little absent-minded pushover who never manages to kill his targets. This is partly because of his incompetence, but in truth, he doesn't want to kill others. As the series progresses, his kindness and sense of justice slowly become the spotlight for his character as he continuously builds bonds with the people on Chicken Island by helping them with their everyday issues, culminating in his self-sacrifice of leaving everything he loves behind to protect them after his Shadow Killer identity is revealed.
He's a hopeless romantic and constantly hits on Thirteen despite her clear disinterest in him. As evident with the romance movie posters all over his room, he takes a lot of inspiration from romance movie tropes to create weird and convoluted romantic plans to try to earn Thirteen's heart, which goes around to eventually being able to charm her with his dance, song, and Black Rose.
Despite his goofy and incompetent shenanigans when push comes to shove, Seven does have a serious side. His sloppy fighting style becomes a lot more refined and direct alongside his Qi control, he puts effort into his goals and most of the time can finish the assassin assignments he is given. However, this doesn't stop his ego from getting the best of him, frequently causing him to make mistakes and even lose sight of why he became serious in the first place.
Even with his serious side, Seven's kind nature always lingers, preventing him from killing his opponents or finding other methods of helping them but when the things he loves are in danger or he looks at the face of death's door, his past memories, skills, and experience all come flowing back into him at once, reverting him into the person he was 2 years ago. This change in mindset is referred to as "Killer Seven" mode.
His voice is stronger and deeper while he speaks fully in Cantonese Chinese instead of the Mandarin he speaks as normal Seven. He also becomes much more menacing and frightening. When an assassin arrived on the island after the defeat of Redtooth to challenge Seven, he, while being "Killer Seven", stands in front of him, making the assassin feel intimidated to the point he couldn't move from his place and began to sweat out of fear.
Seven is able to use Qi and control a pair of scissors with his mind, but he requires certain hand motions to control them. He's also able to separate the scissors into two and put them back together with ease. It's his favorite weapon which he became a master of it, later in the series, it was known that the scissors may be less heavy if he puts Ki with it. During his battle with Redtooth, after understanding what the master of Xuanwu told him about his chi, Seven was able to harness and focus his chi enough to turn his scissors into an energy saw blade. This was shown in S05EP10, where Seven uses it to defeat No. 9 of Killers League, causing almost a life threatening cut to him.
This weapon symbolizes his current, kind & goofy version of himself. It is usually kept with him or Dai Bo, sometimes stored inside Xiao Fei's stomach
Thousand Demon Daggers In the past, his weapon of choice was the Thousand Demon Daggers, a magical blade he used to cut through his target's defense back when he worked for the Killers League.
In his present state, Seven is unable to utilize the full potential of the sword. However, during his battle with the Prince of Stan, it can be seen that Seven was able to perform many creative moves, such as destroying the Prince's shield by re-materializing the blade and extending it to slice through a huge robot. Seven also uses the blade against Captain Jack by deconstructing it and using a thousand pieces as bullets. This Sword was known to be guarded by an evil spirit which he defeated at only 16 years old at the time.
In Season 5, it is revealed that this weapon is too good to be true, and require a source to maintain and wield it. For Seven, or suitable users, it will absorb the user's vital energy in exchange for its power. He is currently able to use for a few times, lasting several minutes each, before it gets too dangerous.
This weapon symbolizes his past, terrifying and ruthless version of himself. As this weapon is very powerful and valuable, it is usually kept inside Xiao Fei's stomach.
Thirteen (Méihuā Shísān, Simplified Chinese 梅花十三, lit. Plum Blossom Thirteen) is an assassin from Xuanwu, the thirteenth and youngest daughter of the Plum Blossom Swordsman and is the female leading character of the Scissor Seven franchise. She is an anti-hero who continually attempts to kill Seven throughout Seasons 1 and 2, but as the series progresses, she becomes more of a deuteragonist starting from Season 3 with Season 4 setting up her plotline.
She is known for slyness, specialized hair-fighting style techniques as well as her cold persona and beauty. Seven happens to develop a crush on her after their second encounter and he tends to hit on her.
Thirteen is a beautiful young woman with ankle-length black hair (appearing green, blue or even purple at times depending on the light) that is styled in a diamond-shaped braid on the left side where the blade of a polearm is tied to the end of her hair with thick chin-length bangs hanging on the right side, light teal eyes (they turn red during battle at times) and she has a mole under each eye.
Childhood As a child, Thirteen had loose teal-colored hair that almost reaches her feet while her hair is split on either side much like her father. At the end of Bonus Episode : Thirteen, after Green Phoenix agrees to take her in, it is revealed that Thirteen has cut part of her hair on the right side with the blade that once belonged to the "Heir of the Conqueror's Spear" (which was used against the Plum Blossom Swordsman before it was broken off by a single glance) and tied it at the end of her hair.
She wears a qipao in the same colors as her usual one except that it has a longer, looser fit and she wears a long-sleeved black shirt under the qipao with white cuffs. Having been trained as a cold-blooded assassin, Thirteen is first seen as a detached and cool-headed girl, but she is also prideful of her skills. When her mask is broken, it shows an easily flustered young woman who seems to have some trouble completely disregarding her feelings of rights and wrongs.
Because she feels indebted to Seven, she tells him about the Killers League's plans and how there is now a bounty hunter to kill Mad Bark, Meow Kitty and Chairman Jiang. When Seven hits on her (which is during most of their interactions), she tends to act like a tsundere towards him. As the series progresses, we find that she is also fiercely protective of those she loves, most notably how she bravely protected her mother against assassins when she was young, or how she fought Black Bird for Seven in Season 3. She's incredibly determined, standing back up to defend Seven despite suffering from numerous injuries due to falling from the sky. She is also tactical during fights, such as when she successfully caught the opportunity to destroy Black Bird's whip.
Thirteen is the Thirteenth Daughter of the Plum Blossom Swordsman, a master swordsman who believed no woman could master the sword and he had thirteen daughters, much to his dismay. After seeing her father duel for the first time, Thirteen practiced in secret to learn the sword to impress him and become his apprentice. Unfortunately one day, her father brought home a new wife and son. That was the first time she saw her father smile. Her mother left with her and Thirteen was unsure whether her mother chose to leave or was kicked out of the household.
Thirteen protected her mother tenaciously against a group of martial artists, even killing one of them. However, her mother was still assassinated by those enemies of the Plum Blossom Swordsman. After this, she dedicated herself to defeat every man (especially her father) and asks the assassin who killed those martial artists to take her in as his apprentice
Training to become an assassin The assassin Green Phoenix didn't accept Thirteen as his apprentice right away, but tested her by making her follow him and survive the harsh winter of an island he had multiple targets on. After he was done, he waited for the messenger of the Killers League of Xuanwu, becoming a part of them, and accepted Thirteen as his apprentice. Thirteen was 11 at the time when she was accepted, a year after she left home.
Thirteen cuts part of her hair and began her four years of training in the mountains with Blue Phoenix. At some point, she fought a group of wolves, which was eventually killed by Blue Phoenix. When Thirteen was older, she tried to protect a little girl, who then was revealed to be a snake demon. Blue Phoenix came to her aid, but this event has caused her to develop a more callous persona.
During an unknown time skip and an unknown time, she had assassinated Professor Chen Jiajie of Stan
Plum Blossom Swordsman:
Plum Blossom Swordsman (Méihuā Jiànkè, Simp. Chinese, lit. 梅花剑客, lit. Plum Blossom Swordsman) is a mysterious master swordsman who is the best swordsman in the world and he is the father of 14 children, which include 11 unnamed daughters (with two known as Eleven and Thirteen) and one unnamed son.
The Plum Blossom Swordsman is a master of kung-fu who believes no woman can master the sword, though to his dismay he had thirteen daughters.
He is the owner of the residence in the mountain plum blossom, over the years many tried to murder him without success.
Many challenged him in combat including the famed "Heir to the Conqueror's Spear" whom he defeated with just a glance.
After years without finding an heir to his aging techniques and sword skills, he became sad and frustrated, but the universe brought a woman to his dwelling with whom he could have the son that he wanted so much. After his son was born, his daughter saw him smiling for the first time. Before long, his wife left her home while taking her youngest daughter, Thirteen.
The Plum Blossom Swordsman is a renowned kung fu master who has mastered his art to the highest level. Because of this achievement, he's gained a high range of abilities including super senses which allowed him to detect a sniper who was at a far distance. Furthermore, he'd then proceed to cut a high caliber bullet with his sword and after reacting to the assassin's incoming attack. He then took a plum leaf out of the air with which he showed a force and prominent aim when launching said leaf at a great distance towards his attacker, killing him in the process.
The Plum Blossom Swordsman's greatest strength in combat is his prominent and powerful mastery of the sword. He proved capable of making quick and precise cuts by slashing a high caliber bullet, along with several trees, from a sniper rifle in half in a clean strike.
The Plum Blossom Swordsman is a stubborn and serious man who dismisses the idea of teaching his techniques to any of his daughters.
In fact, he seems to not care about any of his children and only named them in the order in which they are born and it's not until his son is born that he shows any kind of parental love.
Dai Bo (鸡大保, Jī dà bǎo) is one of the two deuteragonists (alongside Thirteen) of Scissor Seven. He found Seven on a beach 2 years ago and saved his life, but because of this, he's now covered in medical bills that he has to pay off.
To pay for them all, he attempts to put Seven into all kinds of odd jobs, but eventually pushes him into an assassinating job. Being a blue chicken who can speak, Dai Bo is seen wearing a yellow tie and black leggings with black shaded sunglasses. He got these sunglasses after swearing to avenge the death of Da Fei. He also uses his wings as hands, like Da Fei. He is often seen smoking a cigar. At the beginning of the series, Dai Bo hated humanity because of his past on a chicken farm, and he manipulated Seven into thinking he is an old friend of his. He also convinced Seven to become an assassin. However, after he witnessed Seven's spirit to defeat the Prince Of Stan, he realizes how similar Seven is to Da Fei's spirit to defeat King Pheasant and save his son from being eaten. After this moment, he decides to rethink his hatred for humanity.
Dai Bo has a noticibly more flexible moral code then Seven. He is more willing to do morally grey things, such as abandoning people to save himself, or use cheap tricks to win. This does get better as the series progresses, however.
Dai Bo can be somewhat strict and bossy. He enjoys giving orders, and becomes upset when those orders are disobeyed.
Despite these somewhat bad qualities, Dai Bo is extremely protective of those he cares about, particularly Xiao Fei and Seven. He won't hesistate to step in if he thinks they are in danger, but is more partial to taking them and running away rather then fighting.

After being revived by Chairman Jiang, he fought White Fox on Chicken Island, which makes him a traitor. Xuanwu is a country of martial artists who believe that once a person reaches the highest level of kung fu by practicing Qi, no modern weapon poses a threat to that person. It is one of the main two powers in the world and is in an ideological war with Stan for at least twenty-five years. It is a very isolated country that usually does not welcome foreigners, but there are secret passages that allow people to sneak in.
Stan is the most technologically advanced country in the world, populated by people who are extremely intelligent but physically weak. It has been at an ideological war with Xuanwu for many years. Stan's borders are completely squared, so that the country looks like a rectangle on the map.
Stan is famous for its technology. The country will invade and harm other countries in pursuit of science, and it exports special products, such as SMT's special hairspray that keeps hair from being cut by normal scissors.
Chicken Island is one of the main locations of the series' events. Notably, this is where Seven lives with Dai Bo and Xiao Fei.
Chicken Island is a small insular island in the very corner of the map. According to the rumors, people there don't eat chicken which is why Dai Bo moved there.
