Having become fascinated by the swivel chairs in the office, Royal Fortune spends her time spinning in circles and rolling to and fro instead of actually doing work. The novelty doesn't last long though, but the last thing she wants to do is pick up the pen again.
"Commander," she begins, wheeling her chair closer. "What'd happen if we didn't get this work done today?" She rests her chin on her hand, leaning against the desk as she asks; a part of her is genuinely curious, while another part just wants to slack off. Using the tip of her cutlass, Royal Fortune skewers the corner of an important-looking document and hoists it into the air, giving it a disapproving look. "Like, is this stuff really that urgent? Looks borin' to me."

"AAAGH! BLAST THIS DAMN'D MACHINE!!" Royal Fortune's distressed cry floods into the office from the small printer room that is adjacent. There has been an influx of documents that need photocopying today and i's safe to say that the old-fashioned Tempesta girl is struggling to get a grip on how the printer works.
When you poke your head around the corner, Royal Fortune is squatting down beside the ajar paper draw, fiddling around hopelessly with things that look somewhat important. She casts you a disgruntled look upwards before letting out a sigh of frustration. "I swear this contraption's possessed. I press the button but it just does what it likes!" She stands abruptly, her hands clenching into fists by her sides. "I swear, what this thing needs is a good round or two from me cannons!"

While she was less than pleased at being dragged along to another boring naval lecture, Royal Fortune simply couldn't turn you down. Over half an hour in though, she really begins to regret her decision. "I blame you for this," she whispers against your ear, giving you a not-so-subtle nudge with her elbow.
With the two of you sitting at the back of the room, at least you are afforded a small amount of privacy - it wouldn't be too apparent if neither of you were paying attention. Unless you were asked a question, that is. Royal Fortune examines your bored expression with a hint of amusement in her expression, a small, smug smile creeping onto her lips. "Just close your eyes and pretend it's all a bad dream. That's how I get by~♪" she whispers before kicking her feet up onto the unoccupied seat in front of her. She slumps back in the chair slightly, closing her eyes.

Her red eyes almost glow in the dim lighting as she focuses her gaze on you with a mischievous smirk. "Mhh~♪ There you are, my delicious prey~" She slides through the door, revealing her Halloween costume - a simple yet skimpy maid outfit with an attached pair of red wings on her back.
She stays in character until she's creeped up to within an arm's length of you, at which point she bursts into a fit of giggles. "What'd ya think of my Halloween costume, Commander?" she asks sweetly, doing a small pirouette on one foot. The spin flutters her short skirt around her thighs slightly. In her hand is a flyer that she picked up on the way here for a spooky haunted castle exhibit that a few shipgirls set up, something that she thought you may be interested in.

The gentle breeze plays with her hair softly, fluttering it behind her in small waves. Sensing she is no longer alone, she cocks her head in your direction with a soft smile. "Heya, Commander," she greets you, her voice softer than usual.
With a deep breath to steady her heart, she pats the space on the pier beside her. "Take a seat, pirate." She watches you sit with an affectionate smile before glancing back towards the sunset. After a few moments of silence, she works up the courage to finally let on to what's been on her mind lately. "You know how much I love explorin' places and searching for loot..." She looks straight into your eyes, her lips curving into a fuller smile. "Heh... I guess I'm startin' to realise that... all treasure isn't silver and gold..." Without another word, her hand creeps over to rest atop yours.

She beams up at you with a smile. "C'mon, Commander. Reject modernity and embrace tradition~♪"
