This trainer is a member of the RVTs. He has great curiosity and energy for travelling the world. He has an interest on singing.

Full name: Roy Ayumu Age: 13 Height: 158cm Hometown: An island in Kanto region Hobbies: Singing and adventuring Friends: Liko, Dot and Uruto Battle gimmicks: Terastallization and Mega Evolution

Roy is an adolescent boy with an average height, tanned skin and magenta eyes. He has messy black hair with a magenta tuft on the front. His attire consists of a white t-shirt with a yellow symbol, brown sleeveless jacket, red pants that reaches below his knees and black shoes. His right wrist have a golden Mega Ring used for Mega Evolving Lucario.

Roy is an upbeat and energetic boy who likes to go hunting for treasures. Adventurous by nature, Roy seeks to start a journey to meet Pokémon he has not seen and see the world, just like the fabled Ancient Adventurer he has heard about from his grandfather. Although he starts inexperienced about the inner workings of being a Pokémon Trainer, he is nonetheless adept at other related activities, such as building Secret Bases, and an expert in stone throwing, being able to ricochet pebbles for long distances to cut Berries from trees and create distractions, which makes his Poké Ball throws very accurate. Roy also seems to enjoy mysteries and doesn't rest until he’s solved them.

He is shown to enjoy singing and eating, especially berries and spicy food. Roy's enjoyment of berries and spicy flavored foods is also shown in his curry, as seen in "As Long as I'm with My Friends", as most of the ingredients he uses are spicy flavored and berries. However, despite berries and spicy stuff being his favorite food, Roy does like certain other types of foods, such as sweets. Roy also gets excited to eat in general, as seen in "The Bittersweet Truth", when he and Fuecoco got excited to eat all the sweets that Murdock and Mitchell made from their unexpected bake-off. In addition to being a good singer, Roy is a skilled rapper. As revealed in "A New Song for Fuecoco", Roy's love for singing comes from his parents, as they used to sing together whenever he was with them on their cargo ship, and even long after they had left, he would bond with the island Pokémon this way. He continues to use his newfound passion for singing as a means to not only have fun but improve his bond with Fuecoco, as he came up with a new song and battle tactic that is less predictable and stronger than before, allowing him and Fuecoco to win their rematch against Ryme in the same episode and fully gaining her respect to the point where she hyped up the crowd along with Roy when him and Fuecoco starting singing during his battle against Liko in "Shine on, Terastallization! Liko vs. Roy!".

After his Mega Evolution training in Kalos, Roy has become more mature, as he is much more calm and reserved, but still maintains his adventurous spirt.

Roy lived in an island in Kanto with his grandfather. His parents are sailors of the village he lived in, his parents would always sing for him while he's on their boat, which is where he got his passion for singing. He loves to sing with Crocalor.

Roy grew up on an island in the Kanto region with his parents and grandfather. During his childhood, Roy would travel with his parents on a cargo ship and his grandfather would tell the story of a Legendary Adventurer, which inspired him to become a Pokémon Trainer. Sometime later, Roy was left under his grandfather's care when his parents went traveling on their own for business, as he received an Ancient Poké Ball from his grandfather and decided to undercover the mystery of it. Also, Roy would sing to himself until a group of wild Pokémon heard him and followed him.

One day, when Roy was walking on his island, he encountered Fuecoco on the beach, who fell out from the Rising Volt Tacklers' airship Brave Olivine. He then befriended Fuecoco and later met Liko, a girl who is travelling with the RVTs. Fuecoco would later on become Roy's partner Pokemon and Roy decided to join with RVTs in their adventures to search for the mysteries of Pagogo, the Terapagos that is with Liko. Sometime between his meeting with Fuecoco and him joining the RVTs, Roy's Ancient Poke Ball opened, and a Black Rayquaza came out from it and escaped. Roy's another goal in his journey is to catch the Black Rayquaza. Later on during his journey, Roy would later catch a Wattrel and evolve it into Kilowattrel, his Fuecoco evolved into Crocalor and caught a Shiny Lucario during his travels in Kalos.

During his journeys, Roy has befriended Liko and Dot, who are RVT members who are his age. Liko is a calm and shy girl from Paldea who wants to uncover the secrets of Pagogo the Terapagos. Dot is a young steamer girl who is an introvert but is very smart with gadgets, she has an alter-ego called Nidothing when she's making her videos. Liko's Pokemon are Meowscarada, Hattrem and Pagogo the Terapagos. Dot's Pokemon are Quaxwell and Tinkatink.

During his travels in Kalos, he met a hot-headed boy named Uruto who is a user of Mega Sableye. Uruto wants to catch Black Rayquaza like Roy and keep following him around. Roy finds Ult to be annoying and often leaves him behind when he gets a chance.

His Pokemon includes Crocalor, Kilowattrel and Shiny Lucario. Crocalor can Terastallize into Fire Tera and Lucario can Mega Evolve.
