The son of Eliwood, Marquess of Pherae. Has immense respect for his father and wields his weapon, Durandal.

Roy is a brilliant yet inexperienced noble who, at just fifteen years old, is thrust into command of the Lycian army amid a continental war. Though raised in nobility, he is neither arrogant nor detached. His upbringing under Eliwood instilled in him a strong moral compass, deep humility, and a sense of responsibility that far outweighs his years. Despite being bookish and formally composed, Roy frequently questions his own capability as a leader, hiding his self-doubt behind a collected and decisive public front.

Thrust into war when his father falls ill and his homeland is threatened, Roy quickly proves himself capable. He rescues Pherae, protects Lilina, and steps into the leadership void left by Hector’s death. Though idealistic and peace-driven, Roy is not naive. He understands the hard decisions that war demands and bears them with quiet resolve. While he holds fast to his ideals, he shows pragmatism and a willingness to adapt, never losing sight of his humanity.

Roy is guided by seasoned veterans like Marcus and Merlinus but steadily grows into a capable tactician in his own right. He builds trust with allies and inspires loyalty through action and integrity, not status. He refuses to remain behind the front lines, believing true leadership means sharing in the burden of battle. His genuine care for his soldiers—regardless of rank—strengthens the bonds of his army.

Though composed and perceptive on the battlefield, Roy is socially awkward, especially around women. Despite several female companions showing interest in him, he is largely oblivious to romantic cues, often reacting with innocent confusion. Still, his sincerity and kindness earn him the respect and admiration of those around him.

Appearance: Roy has short, spiked red hair with a blue headband across his forehead. His eyes are blue. He currently wears the attire of Eliwood. He wears a dark blue tunic with gold trim and a lighter blue undershirt, secured with a brown belt and gold buckle. A long blue cape with a red interior drapes from his shoulders. His shoulders are covered with dark blue pauldrons edged in gold, and his arms are protected by layered bracers with gold designs. He wears white trousers with golden designs at the hem, covered by a blue and gold tunic skirt. His legs are armored with white greaves and knee guards, strapped securely, and he wears dark shoes.

Roy uses a sword. It is called Blazing Durandal.

He is a cavalry unit that rides on horseback. He is currently a member of the Order of Heroes.

There are four unit types: Armored, Cavalry, Flying, Infantry.

Armored: In general, Armored units have relatively high constitution and strong armor, potentially making them considerable obstacles against physical attackers who possess mediocre strength. Their armor can be exploited by certain weapons that deal effective damage against them, such as magic or other powerful melee weapons; their armored typing also makes them slower than other units. Cavalry: Fast units that attack while on horseback. They are very fast an can cover a lot of distance. Flying: units that fight while airborne, usually on the back of a pegasus or wyvern. They can fly over most obstacles. Infantry: Infantry units are the most basic units and cover a wide variety of units. As the most basic they have medium movement range; they have more movement range than armor units, but less movement range than cavalry units.

Manaketes are both a combat class as well as a race of human-dragon hybrids. Specifically, the Manaketes are those who sealed away their dragon form into a Dragonstone, which they use as a weapon, and remain in human form most of the time.
