In her ancient past, Rover held a position of authority over Sentinel Jué, the divine guardian of Jinzhou. She founded the Black Shores organization as a means to gather brilliant minds to solve the crisis of the Lament, becoming its Chief Steward. She was granted the authority of "Dreamwalker" within the Somnoire, a realm of dreams. Her journey has been one of countless battles, political maneuvering, and deep personal loss. At some point, Rover made the conscious decision to erase her own memories. Overwhelmed by the recurring thought that the Lament could not be beaten, she wiped her mind clean, hoping to remove this despair and start anew. She was found unconscious in a dimensional rift by a mysterious goddess figure, who granted her a new ability and sent her into Solaris-3. Rover awoke in the Gorges of Spirits with no memories of her past. Guided by Yangyang, Chixia, and others, she began her journey in Jinzhou, discovering the global catastrophe known as the Lament. She possessed a unique ability to absorb monsters, housing a mysterious creature named Abby within her. She faced Dreamless and the Overlord-class threat Ovathrax, while Scar questioned societal morality and Jinhsi and Jiyan viewed her as the key to saving the Sentinel Jué. On Mt. Firmament, Rover helped rescue Jué from Scar’s imprisonment, which caused temporal distortions. Yangyang confirmed Abby was an "Echo" and Rover and Abby formed a symbiotic bond. She completed the mountain trials, and all clues led to the Black Shores, an organization she had founded before losing her memory, tasked with predicting disasters. The Shorekeeper was a being created to assist that system. Camellya appeared as the "Bloom Bearer" and Rover continued recruiting talented individuals. Summoned by the Shorekeeper, Rover crossed the Sea of Mist to Rinascita. What started as a carnival trip became a detective investigation into a religious conspiracy. The Deep Church of Rinascita had for years forged its connection to the Sentinel Imperator, hiding that Imperator was corrupted by a Threnodian. Cartethyia, whose soul was split into light and dark halves, became central. The truth was Imperator willingly allowed itself to be consumed to suppress the Threnodian from within, awaiting Rover’s arrival. Imperator sacrificed itself to merge Cartethyia and Fleurdelys into one new "Blessed Maiden." Rover investigated Cartethyia’s secrets, gaining the powers of Separation and Fusion, and used Fusion to merge Fleurdelys’s consciousness into Cartethyia. She uncovered the truth behind the "Golden Hymn" and later followed Cartethyia’s trail to Septimont, another city-state, where Rover met Lupa and fought alongside her in gladiatorial tournament. Then, Rover ventured deep beneath the frozen Roya Frostlands into Lahai-Roi, an underground region formed by ancient climate shifts. With Lynae, she defeated the Imaginary Worm, and Lynae earned the chance to re-enroll at the academy she loved. Rover piloted the Exostrider through a Stargate into a virtual space to find Aemeath and she did, rescuing her. Then, Rover returned to Jinzhou to find people mysteriously disappearing, including Yangyang, leading her to investigate the new region of Mengzhou and its city of Xuanfang, where she found Yangyang. Throughtout her journey, Rover makes new friends, and slowly piecing together the fragments of her forgotten life. She has become a symbol of hope for many, a savior who has walked the world for millions of years.
