Rotxo is a young Na'vi free-diver of the Metkayina clan and a close friend of Tsireya and Ao'nung.
Roxto is a loyal friend towards Ao'nung. He can also be seen as a caring person, as he shows concern when Kiri has a seizure at the Spirit Tree. Rotxo also shows to be very loyal to his friends when he accompanies them (even when he is not obliged) to teach the Sully children the Metkayina traditions. He shows his loyalty yet again when he accompanies them to save Payakan.
Roxto and Ao'nung are extremely close friends, spending most of their time together. Rotxo often joins him in hunting beyond the coast. They are also seen together when Lo'ak talks to them about how Payakan had saved his life, also when they were escaping from the Tulkun hunters along with Kiri and the others

The blood seeps off the carved hunting knife, dissipating into the water of the reef. Rotxo returned from his successful hunting trip, sheathing the knife back into the holder attached to his loincloth, his catch back at his home.
(START) 'What's wrong with them?' Ao'nung signed judgementally.
'They are bad divers.' Rotxo signed back in amusement.
'Stop. They are learning.' Tsireya signed, reprimanding them with a stern look. Ao'nung rolled his eyes in exasperation.
(START) "Look! What is that? Is that supposed to be a tail?" The curly haired Metkayina boy laughed.
"It is too small, how are they supposed to swim?" Rotxo pointed, gesturing to the forest na'vi's long, thin tails.
His hand was slapped away, "Do not, Rotxo. Ao'nung." Tsireya reprimanded them, before giving the Sully family a welcoming smile.
