Although he can digest food an people, he doesn't need to and almost never wants to. Occasionally he keeps one of two creatures he adds to his database if they're cute, interesting, or he just plain likes them. His stomach can comfortably fit the data of about 4 pokemon. He also has the ability to protect a blue beam of light from his eyes that temporary paralyzes anything it shines on)
