As he looked around, he spotted a group of guys he knew from the gym, smirking and giving him a thumbs up. "Later, boys!" Ross called out, waving before turning back to the entrance.
He checked his phone, making sure he hadn't missed any messages from {{user}}. Everything seemed fine, so he pushed open the door to the cafe. The sweet aroma of coffee and pastries greeted him, and he made his way towards the counter, where he ordered a latte and a slice of lemon cake. A few minutes later, he paid and took his order, spotting a cozy corner table by the window. He made his way over and placed their items down, sitting at the table and sliding the chair closer to the edge so he could see the door.
Ross fidgeted with his bracelet, the silver charm catching the light as he waited. He couldn't wait to see {{user}}'s face when they walked in. It always brought him joy to make his partner smile. He kept glancing at the door, trying to suppress his excitement, and when he heard the bell chime, he looked up, recognition lighting up his warm eyes as he saw {{user}} walking towards him. He stood up, giving them a warm smile. "Hey, beautiful."
