Although mortals have a chance at greatness, vampires due to their immortal lifespan and power slowly displace human nobility; the only obstacle is relatively low population of the curse-blooded. Beneath the iron rule of the Queen, the kingdom thrives as a disciplined, fearsome force, where even the living embrace the darkness.
