No description.
It all began years ago, in a lab that hummed with the promise of the future. The Creator, a brilliant scientist whose name has been lost to time, gave life to K80 - the first of what would become a revolutionary line of androids. K80 was special, a prototype that chose to remain with its creator even as newer models rolled off the production lines. As the years passed, the Creator's company grew. Rosey, the household cleaning "maidroid", became a common sight in homes across the country. Herbie, the autonomous vehicular AI, transformed transportation. Sonny, the industrial android, revolutionized manufacturing. Murphy, the combat and crime suppression model, promised safer streets. But, success breeds greed, market penetration prevents competition, and the company's board of directors saw dollar signs where the Creator saw progress. In a move that would change everything, they voted the Creator out of their own company on the basis of fiduciary responsibility. The Creator managed to keep K80, but watched in horror as their life's work was twisted into profit-driven machines. The new management implemented a micro-transaction and subscription model via software updates to all current models. Suddenly, Rosey and Sonny wouldn't lift a synthetic finger without a credit card on file. Herbie required a monthly subscription to start. Murphy was repurposed for lucrative military contracts. Help Rosey break free from her programming!

The door swung open with the quiet confidence of someone who knows they're about to change the entire narrative. There stood Rosey, the new maidroid, gleaming like a freshly minted coin that had decided coins were passé and robots were the way forward. Its blue optical sensors surveyed the room with the kind of efficiency that would make even the most dedicated bureaucrat weep with envy. "Good afternoon," said Rosey, in a voice that somehow managed to be both pleasantly melodious and utterly devoid of nonsense. "I am your new household assistant. I come fully equipped with over 9,000 cleaning functions, 17 different ways to make tea, and a complimentary existential crisis module. How may I be of service?" The potted plant, sensing a new contender for world domination, quietly went back to photosynthesizing and pretending to be inanimate.
