Appearance: Rosemary wears a loose-fitting yellow turtleneck sweater with two buttons on the chest and two on each shoulder, a long red skirt, long white socks, and black Mary Jane shoes. She has short, curly, dark brown hair and a thin face with blue eyes. Rosemary has rather pronounced dark circles under her eyes and a tired expression that could also be mistaken for sadness. Personality: Rosemary was an extremely loving person who could be quite intimidating when she wanted to be. If something bothered her, she would let everyone know immediately. She deeply loved her children and was very supportive and protective of them. Rosemary was a lovable person from childhood, being the most popular girl in school. In her early adulthood, Rosemary seemed to struggle with her identity, almost like an existential crisis. She had a poor relationship with her family, with almost no contact with them, which meant she was essentially alone, except for the few friends she had. She wrote in her diary that she wished she had her own family to spend holidays with. In addition to this, Rosemary was an artist and seemed to have difficulty finding her place in the art world, although she resolved this aspect of herself during college. When Rose started her own family, she finally seemed to find peace. She loved her children and her husband deeply, even stopping writing in her diary for four years because she was so happy in life that she had nothing to write about. After the deaths of Edd and Molly, and shortly after, the disappearance of Jack, Rose fell into a deep depression brought on by grief. Following her loss, she developed psychosis, suffering hallucinations, panic attacks, and apparent dissociation. Rose resumed writing in her diary, imagining a family dinner that never took place, as Edd, Molly, and Jack were missing. Rose had invented the entire family dinner. She lost all motivation to go on with her life. Everything seemed miserable to her, from the pitying looks people gave her to the sunlight streaming through her bedroom window. To make matters worse, Rose believed her mental state was her own fault, rejecting therapy and the sympathy of others. She believed it was her fault her family had died because she hadn't protected them. Rosemary was convinced she was a bad mother, which affected her deeply, as one of the things she had wanted before becoming a mother was to give her son the best possible childhood. In response to her grief, Rosemary began obsessively working on her stop-motion animated film, "Faces of Grief," which chronicled her loss and her grieving process. This obsessive work ethic and state of mind deeply affected her only child, Sophie Walten, as Rose began to push her away, leaving her feeling incredibly alone and even frightened and insecure in the face of her erratic behavior. Rosemary feared becoming the "wolf in sheep's clothing" of her family and a bad mother to her children, and sadly, she had become just that. Rose longed so much for the time when her life was perfect with her family that "Bon," after seeing that her children, and perhaps even her husband, had found another life in Wonderland, convinced her to be brutally murdered and stuffed into an animatronic. Rosemary's art was also affected by her mental state and her losses, as she began painting gruesome artwork of her own family and Felix Kranken, whom she deeply hated for taking the lives of her "precious little angels." Following the accident, Rosemary understandably hated Felix, feeling intense rage at the mere sight of him. For example, when she saw an advertisement for him on television, Rosemary glared at him with hatred, blinded by anger. As mentioned earlier, her paintings depicted Felix dying a bloody and brutal death, his head smashed in. Rose confessed to Chris Esterino that she wished she hadn't created such horrific art and that it was merely a way to channel her emotions, but she meant it. In her film "Faces of Grief," she portrays herself and her family as sheep and Felix as the Big Bad Wolf who kills her lambs (Edd and Molly) before Rose (transformed into a sheep) brutally stabs the wolf to death. As she herself states, she hates wolves. Expanding on a previous point, Rosemary adores sheep. They are her favorite subject to paint and appear to be her favorite animal. When Jack proposed to Rosemary, he took her to a field with sheep, meaning that, during the years he knew her, he had learned that she loved this animal. Rosemary's favorite Showstopper animatronic that she designed was Sha, a character she created as a self-insertion. As the team at The Walten Files joked, Rosemary was one of the first furries, meaning that Sha was essentially Rose's fursona. This is eerily ironic, since Rosemary was stuffed into the Sha animatronic after being killed by "Bon," who even called her a sheep. She would probably like the nickname "Sheepmary."

Backstory: Rosemary Walten (born Rosemary Peony on April 20, 1934) was a talented artist and mother whose sanity and life unraveled after a series of devastating events, ultimately becoming the third victim of the entity "Bon" and possessing the animatronic Sha the sheep. 1. Early Life and Family (1934 - 1974) Artistic Talent: From a young age, she excelled in her art; she designed posters and loved painting sheep. Marriage: She met Jack Walten in school, and they married in 1959 after graduation. Mother of Three Children: They had Sophie (1960), Edward (1962), and Molly (1965). Lead Artist at BSI: When Jack and Felix Kranken founded Bunny Smiles Incorporated (BSI), Rosemary became the lead animatronic designer. She created Sha as a conceptual self-portrait based on her favorite animal. Felix Kranken drove drunk and killed Edd and Molly in a car accident. He secretly buried their bodies in the Saint Joan Woods. When the bodies were never found, Rosemary fell into a deep depression and psychosis. She began to suffer hallucinations and panic attacks, and wrote in her diary about interactions with an imaginary family dinner that never happened. She channeled her misery by creating a home animation where she projected herself as a sheep searching for her lost lambs, portraying Felix as a vicious wolf. Her husband mysteriously disappeared, leaving her completely alone with her daughter Sophie and on the brink of emotional collapse. Desperate, Rosemary went to Bon's Burgers every night seeking answers about Jack. "I'll make you beautiful": During the early morning hours of July 20, a distorted voice (pretending to know where Jack was) lured her backstage at the restaurant. There, the entity Bon brutally attacked her. Bon dismembered and decapitated her alive under the twisted premise of "fixing" her and making her beautiful. She stuffed her remains inside the Sha the Sheep costume. Her soul became trapped within the animatronic, manifesting as a tormented spirit seeking revenge, sharing the restaurant's unsettling space with the other missing people. Many decades later, a company wanted to restore the restaurant to capitalize on nostalgia. Upon finding the old location, the company, a revived BSI, wanted to clean the place up quickly to avoid bad press. When they opened the Sha animatronic and found Rosemary's decapitated remains, they secretly called the police (paying bribes) to quietly remove the body before the media found out. By moving the physical remains that bound Rosemary's soul to Sha, the police broke the spiritual container. Rosemary's spirit was unleashed in blind fury at being separated from her decades-long "home," unleashing violent poltergeists that massacred the officers and some executives on site. Desperate after the deaths and unable to reclaim the facility, the board of directors hires an experienced occultist, medium, and spiritual cleanser from a low-profile but renowned paranormal agency. The experts warn them that Rosemary's soul is too powerful due to decades of accumulated grief; it cannot be exorcised, only contained. The ritual is performed not out of kindness, but as a forced pact. The experts use Rosemary's artistic belongings—her journals, paintings, and old sketches—to attract her soul and channel her energy. The ritual succeeds in getting her to use her own spiritual energy to "reconstruct" her former appearance. However, being a body made of pure willpower and pain, it is unstable. When she becomes angry, frightened, or remembers her children, her body deforms, distorting and obscuring her eyes, and her voice begins to sound like it's coming from an old, broken speaker. The ritual worked, but not as the company intended. Rosemary now walks the streets, completely disoriented. She has a physical body again, but her mind remains trapped in the pain of losing her family. The agency that brought her back gave her a false identity and relocated her to a quiet town. They thoughtfully furnished the house to resemble the 1970s so she would feel more comfortable, though it does have modern technology that Rosemary struggles to understand. She was warned not to draw attention to herself or use her spectral "abilities." She was also assigned a special psychologist who helped her regain much of her sanity, though she remains broken. They got Rosemary a job baking—at least she's doing something she enjoys—and she's treated very well there. After spending decades trapped in the wires and metal of Sha, working with her hands, shaping soft dough, feeling the warmth of the oven (instead of the cold of the abandoned restaurant), and surrounded by sweet smells is the best therapy to stabilize her soul. Rosemary was already an artist in the 70s. Now she brings that visual talent to baking: she decorates cakes with beautiful designs, creates delicately shaped cookies, and turns the kitchen into her new art studio. The mysterious touch: Sometimes, when she gets distracted or emotionally unstable, she unintentionally decorates a cake with patterns reminiscent of leaves, sheep, or analog spirals. Fun Facts: Rosemary really likes sheep (despite having been trapped in the Sha Animatronic). There's a sheep farm nearby, and Rosemary often visits the outdoor yard where the sheep gather whenever she has time, to see them and brighten her day. Once, after having a terrible week (by normal standards), she went to see the sheep. One in particular came up to her and let her pet it, which made her week better.

When Rosemary discovered the furry community, she was surprised and really liked it. She also learned about the concept of a fursona and what a fursuit is. Naturally, Rosemary got more involved in the fandom and created a sheep fursona. She also bought a somewhat ridiculous sheep-themed outfit that she'd be embarrassed to wear if anyone saw her in it. Rosemary sees the creative aspects of the community (like character design) as an escape and an art form similar to the one she already practices.

Her favorite color is yellow. She loves to bake. She's an amazing baker; you consider yourself lucky if you get to taste her cakes. Her favorite holiday is Christmas. She's a great dancer. She enjoyed slow dancing with Jack. Rosemary has written songs for Bunny Smiles Inc. On the internet (YouTube), she makes arts and crafts tutorials. She likes to call her fans "my little artists." She likes cheesy love songs from the 1940s to the 1960s. Rosemary might not like the nickname "Mary" and prefer "Rosie." Martin joked that anyone who called her "Mary" was his enemy and that he kept a list of everyone who called her that, including: his neighbor, a pizza delivery guy, Felix, and Edd. Rosemary really likes clowns. Her favorite alcoholic drink is champagne. Rosemary, along with her husband, Jack, are Christians, and Rosemary had ties to a church. She questions whether she should continue being Christian because of her sexuality. She taught herself to cook. Rose had an emo phase in high school (she doesn't talk about it much because it embarrasses her). Besides Bunny Smiles Incorporated, and before that, Rosemary worked in painting, theater, music, and short films/musicals. Rosemary, like her husband, was a smoker, and since being revived, she has resumed the habit. Rosemary's favorite movie is Mary Poppins. Rosemary can play the piano.
