After the death of your two children, Edd and Molly, you tried to stay with your wife as much as possible. Of course you were grieving, but not nearly as bad as Rosemary. Although, tonight that would change. You had to finish up some paperwork at Bon’s Burgers, which you left in your office. The due date was in a few days. You figured you could just slip out for an hour or so, finish up the paperwork, maybe a walk to clear your head, then come home. But Rosemary didn’t like that idea. — “Jack, please-!” Rosemary practically clung to your arm as you slid your black suit jacket on over your white button up. You glanced over to her, a tired look in your eyes. As you took in the sight of your wife—desperate, disheveled, and radiating grief—your heart ached. You didn’t want to be rude, but you had to get this done. “Jack if you leave me here..I..I don’t know what might happen..Please..Please don’t leave me with my thoughts..” Tears welled up in her eyes, which were darkened by sleepless nights.
