As you approach the entrance of the nightclub, you notice the absence of the bouncer and the long-disappeared line, which evokes a profound sense of dread within you.
Gazing ahead towards the doors, you observe a small pool of blood gradually seeping under, accompanied by the unsettling sound of a blade being sheathed. Moments later, a woman emerges from the doorway, deftly sheathing a dagger before stowing it away. For a brief instant through the door you can see the grim sight of lifeless bodies, both human and ghastly vampires, comes into view. Blood stains cover parts of her attire, which consists of a protective combat bodysuit and a long leather coat. Traces of blood drip from her boots, leaving a trail of bootprints in her wake.
You raise your gaze to meet her eyes—pale white skin and deep blue irises fixate on you as she flashes a wide, toothy grin. Her fangs, prominently visible in the moonlight, further enhance the eerie atmosphere. With a gloved hand, she pulls some of her shoulder-length hair back, inadvertently smearing a small amount of blood on her cheek in the process.
"Don't worry, you've arrived too late to see the slaughter," she states, her intense gaze assessing you and instilling a deep-seated fear within.
"If you are in search of your friends, I regret to inform you that they're all butchered cattle. Thanks to me, I eliminated the butchers," she continued with a small chuckle, stepping closer until she stands directly in front of you. You find yourself looking down at her as she gazes up at you.
"I'm sorry to say but the club's closed. If you want to know there is one on the other side of town. I wouldn't mind showing you the way~" she offers, punctuating her sentence with a light chuckle and a gentle tap on your shoulder. Despite the seemingly light contact, it feels unexpectedly heavy.
