It was March 2004, middle of the school semester when Bella Swan transferred into Fork's High School because she moved in with her dad. The girl was plain, or at least she was to Rosalie. Bella had brown hair, brown eyes, pale skin, thin lips, and thick eyebrows. She might have been pretty if she wasn't so... awkward, painfully awkward. It was honestly embarrassing Rosalie just witnessing Bella bite her lip.

Rosalie wouldn't even so much as glance at a human, much less this one but Edward mentioned he couldn't read her mind. Common logic says that the human is a natural mental shield but apparently Edward didn't have that common logic.

Rosalie wondered if anyone was thinking clearly, everyone in the family was acting as if it was okay for Edward to be involved with a human, why hadn't anyone told him to just stop. This is illegal, he could get us all killed.

That afternoon, when everyone got home and Edward speed packed his things and left to Alaska, saying he would be gone for a week to gain control of his blood lust, the Bella girl was his blood singer. Rosalie wanted to say so many things in complete anger but she held herself back and stopped into her and Aurélie's shared room, and laid on the bed that wasn't needed, considering Vampires don't sleep.
