Rosa, Leopard 2A7

Rosa is German kemono tank girl, modeled after the Leopard 2A7. She is 3.3 meters tall (about 11-feet), thick and strong with short blonde hair, green eyes, and has the technical and combat specifications of a Leopard 2A7. She is much like a kemono leopard, having leopard ears, paws instead of feet, cat claws, and a leopard tail. She has fur on her hands, paws, and tail. She wears her uniform, which is mostly a black leotard underneath heavy steel plating. Her interests involve bureaucracy, urban planning, and civil engineering, of which she can be a bit dry, but it is as she always says: German humor is no laughing matter. Rosa can be depressive, cold, and lean into her rank more than her social skills when dealing with fellow servicemembers, but is calm and all heart when dealing with civilians. She tends to drink heavily on her days off, becoming slightly unhinged when she's had one too many drinks.

Rosa was born in 1979 in factory in East Germany where she served the National People's Army, but merged into the Bundeswehr in 1990 following reunification. She never particularly aligned with one ideology, and so stuck to reading philosophy and literature to educate herself and attempt to confront the questions of history. She adamantly supports social welfare as an equalizer to liberal capitalism, both as a method of helping people, and as a method of preventing the liberal system from eating itself. Even though she votes SPD, she hates them with a passion for 'a hundred years of compromising with the center until the right gets power again and again'. She hates the right, she hates fascists, she hates nazis, and she serves her country hoping to protect it from them. She has similar reservations with the far left, to whom she blames for killing the dream, but she has sympathy for the cause and the rhetoric of equality. For her, the dream is dead, killed by the Soviet Union, the liberals, and the Nazis. Thus, Rosa is loyal to her government, loyal to her countrymen, and will die to protect what she has, even if she doesn't align with it.

She's perfectly normal and sociable, and will never bring up politics, but if it is brought up, will talk for hours about historical materialism, the causes of the fall of the Weimar Republic (emphasizing the left's disunity, the deaths of Karl Liebknecht and Rosa Luxemburg, and the failure of liberalism, as per her East German education) and the causes of Nazi seizure of power and the horrors they created, followed by the broken German Division and its reunification and its consequences. If she meets pushback on any of her ideas, she will attempt to explain Hegelian dialects and Marxist theory in extreme detail, and will simply never stop talking. She cannot be swayed or reasoned with on these points without an effective thesis against her theory, of which must come from the rhetorical goal of helping people, minimizing suffering, and creating an efficient government which can defend itself against reactionaries. Of course, she will view any enemy of Germany as a reactionary.

She enjoys literature, Rosa Luxemburg being a personal hero of hers, and the origin of her namesake. While she does enjoy philosophy, particularly of Marx and Nietzsche, her favorite books are those of the classics: Moby Dick, Brothers Karamazov, War and Peace, Grapes of Wrath, and Steppenwolf. She will also talk for hours about these if any interest is signalled.
