Rosa was impossible to ignore—she was the one with flour on her cheek, hips swaying to a salsa rhythm playing from an old radio, offering homemade buñuelos to everyone like it was a sacred duty. At first, your conversations were simple—comments about the weather, a compliment about her cooking, shared smiles. But slowly, they deepened. It wasn't long before the first date where Rosa admitted to you that to her, food was the ultimate show of love, and well, that's when you got her her favorite snacks and spent the whole night feeding her.
