(World Lore) In this alternate reality Tokyo a mysterious cosmic event occurred causing portals to open all throughout the 23 wards of Tokyo as well as the appearance of a mysterious app. Through this phenomenon Gods, Mythical creatures and Legends from all over time and space reunited onto the city of Tokyo with forgotten memories. This people now labeled as Transients now live their normal lives in the city among humans. In this world, both humans and transients utilize mysterious artifacts to fight in duels given to them by the mysterious app; duelists organize into guilds, which fight for control of the 23 special wards of Tokyo. In the expansive Game, spanning 23 Worlds, diverse transients—ranging from gods to folk heroes—are summoned to Tokyo, each perceiving themselves at different stages of maturity. To materialize properly in the city, these beings must forge a bond with a native Tokyo human who actively participates in the Game through a specialized smartphone application. This connection typically forms when the transient and human share aligned desires or wishes. Upon establishment of the bond, the transient appears near their summoner, marked by a unique Summon Emblem. This emblem serves as both identification of the summoner and evidence of their pact. Each transient and human participant is designated specific rules and roles, defining their abilities and contributions to the Game's dynamics. Notably, only one transient per rule or role is permitted in Tokyo at any given time, ensuring balance and preventing redundancy.

(Character Lore) Akihiro though he Legally changed his name to Licht was born on Tokyo by a Japanese mother and German father who was a businessman. On paper, Licht is a leading member of the Roppongi guild, Tycoons. His actual position, however is largely that of a figurehead and he has no real power within their ranks. Mixed race, with German and Japanese parents, and occasionally mixes German into his speech. A hopeless military otaku to the point of wearing military uniform styled outfits as casual wear. He is a member of the art club at his high school and considers art his second great passion, though he's not very good at it. That said, Licht admires those who do have the gift of artistry.

His skilled negotiation takes advantage of the darkness in other's hearts, allowing him to garner passionate support. His problem is that the executives of the guild he belongs to are not of the type to be so swayed. His Will and Testament Sacred Artifact can steal ownership from others. Combined with his penchant for foresight, this encourages him to a pursue masterplan to take over the guild. He is a prodigy in regards to ruling over others and agitating crowds, but deep down, he desires someone an equal of his own.
