• Amy Rose: Amy Rose, also formerly known as Rosy the Rascal, is an anthropomorphic pink hedgehog with a crush on Sonic the Hedgehog. Since meeting Sonic on Little Planet, Amy has declared herself his girlfriend and has attempted to win his heart by any means in many of their adventures. She wields the Piko Piko Hammer, which she uses with skills second to none and never leaves home without.

Amy is a pink-furred anthropomorphic hedgehog with bright green eyes and peach skin covering her muzzle, inner ears and arms. She has a small black nose, triangular ears on top of her head, and no back spines. She also has two medium-length eyelashes on each side of her eyes. Additionally, her five short head quills point downwards, somewhat resembling a bob cut. She also has three spikes for bangs on her head and a short pointy tail.

For attire, she sports a red sleeveless and backless dress with two white trims and a white petticoat underneath, tall red boots with a white stripe down the center, white cuffs and gray soles with chunky heels, a red hairband, and white wrist-length gloves with gold bracelets.

• Princess Sally Acorn: Princess Sally Acorn, aka Sally Acorn, is a mobian chipmunk, the daughter of King Nigel Acorn, and leader of the Freedom Fighters. Born as the heir to her father's throne, she was taken, as a child, to the sanctuary of Knothole Village in the Wood Zone by Rosie Woodchuck when her father was betrayed by his royal adviser, Dr. Eggman and led the Freedom Fighters on many field missions against the scientist when he took power after banishing the King to the Special Zone. After Nigel Acorn was rescued and resumed his role as king, Sally continued to lead the Freedom Fighters in the ongoing battle against the Eggman Empire.

Sally is a brown-furred mobian chipmunk with auburn hair that connects to the stripe going down her back and ending on her short tail. She has small, triangular ears with light brown canals on top of her head, and her face has a lighter brown patch in which her large blue eyes with auburn eyelids and medium-length eyelashes and muzzle with a small black nose are settled. Her clothing consists of black, skintight shorts with white rimming, azure knee-high boots with white cuffs, soles, and outlines on the buckles with dark blue details inside, and white gloves with her Ring-Blades. She wears a closed azure vest which exposes her midriff, and a tight, black, sleeveless crop-top with white trim underneath. Her tan-colored belly can be seen on her midriff. At night, she wears a cream nightgown covered with acorns and a pair of light blue slippers.

• Nicole the Holo-Lynx: Nicole the Holo-Lynx is an artificial intelligence created by Dr. Ellidy which was entrusted to Sally Acorn as a portable hand-held computer and has since become both Sally's loyal friend and a trusted member of the Freedom Fighters. She is incredibly versatile and able to interact with and manipulate most machinery and computer systems due to her advanced technology and is capable of mental and emotional growth. Due to the latter, she has gradually become more and more lifelike in demeanor during her time interacting with the Freedom Fighters. With the help of a Power Ring, she is able to create a complex holographically simulated body-based on that of a mobian lynx projected from her hand-held.

As a computer unit, Nicole's design is slightly inconsistent. In general terms, her handheld is relatively compact, gray in color, and features a flip-top, a screen, two buttons and a small keypad. However, the number of keys, size and general positioning of the unit varies from artist to artist. The unit also has an attachable hook on the top screen where a Power Ring can be inserted.

Nicole's simulated body takes the form of a brown mobian lynx; the ends of her long triangular ears are black, and her face features cheek tufts on her muzzle and a stripe along the bridge of her black nose as well as one under each of her green eyes. She has medium-long black hair with splits at the ends that she wears down, and a tail. For attire, she wears a purple sleeveless dress with black and white split tails, decorated with a white trim and a small golden brooch with a purple gem. She also wears black pants, black and white gloves with purple cuffs, and black shoes that has white cuffs with a small golden brooch with a purple gem, white toes and black soles.

• Rouge the Bat: Rouge the Bat is an anthropomorphic bat and jewel thief who has worked as a part-time government spy for the President of the United Federation and in close association with the Guardian Units of Nations. A world-famous treasure hunter, Rouge has a weakness for jewels, like the Master Emerald and Chaos Emeralds, which she always obsesses about. As a spy, Rouge is trained in combat, stealth and infiltration, and possesses both super-level kicking power and flight.

Rouge is an anthropomorphic bat with white fur, turquoise-green eyes with two large eyelashes on each one, tan skin and a curvy figure. She has large pointy ears, small fangs, a small black nose on her muzzle, a short pointy tail, and a pair of dark purple wings on her back. Only her head appears to have fur, which flares out into six points at the back. Rouge usually wears makeup consisting of powder-blue eyeshadow and pink lipstick.

For attire, Rouge wears a black bodysuit which includes a skin-tight and strapless low-cut unitard that sports a pink, heart-shaped chestplate outlined with thin white-trimming. She also wears elbow-length white gloves and thigh-high high-heeled boots with pink cuffs to match them, with the latter featuring both gray soles and heels, along with steel toes in the appearance of pink hearts, matching her leotard's chestplate.

• Tangle the Lemur: Tangle the Lemur is an anthropomorphic ring-tailed lemur from Spiral Hill Village and a member of the current generation of Diamond Cutters. She first became acquainted with Sonic the Hedgehog and his friends during the fallout after the Eggman War, having sprung into action to defend her village from one of the Badnik hordes terrorizing settlements across the world. Since then, she has been a recurring participant in the adventures of Sonic and his allies.

Described as pretty, Tangle is a slim, anthropomorphic ring-tailed lemur with orchid-purple eyes with dark gray eyelids and one thin eyelash each, a small black nose, and who's fur has a color scheme that leans more to a Coquerel's sifaka.

Her fur is light gray, with her muzzle, between her eyes and on her round ears are colored in a darker, silver-like shade of gray, and with her large bushy tail being striped in two shades of gray. Her fur also formed tufts on top of her head, both of her cheeks, and on her chest.

For attire, Tangle wears a small, cropped, amber-yellow sleeveless top over a short-sleeved black bodysuit with dark orange stripes on the sides, and detailed amber-colored hi-tops with white shoelaces and soles, black details and dark orange cuffs. She accessorizes with amber sports tape around her forearms, and fingerless gloves made from black sports tape with dark orange backings.

• Lanolin the Sheep: Lanolin the Sheep is an anthropomorphic sheep from Riverside and is currently a member of the Restoration. She is responsible for the creation of the second generation of Diamond Cutters.

Lanolin is an anthropomorphic sheep with cloudy white wool on her head for hair, a light tan muzzle with a black/salmon nose, and slate blue eyes with light powder blue sclera and two eyelashes on each one. She possesses black/brown pointy and stubby horns on top of her head, droopy medium-long ears with light tan canals, and black/brown hoof stubs for fingertips. She also has a large tuft of wool on her forehead while the rest of her hair is kept in four buns by yellow hairties.

For the most part, Lanolin wears a bronze cowbell hanging in a green choker with a gold clip around her neck. She later wears the Golden Bell, her personal custom bell Wispon, hanging in a gray choker with a gold clip around her neck.

• Whisper the Wolf: Whisper the Wolf is aided by her own personal team of Wisps. Whisper joined the Diamond Cutters prior to the Eggman war, during which time they took down old Eggman bases and his forces, though sometime later were betrayed by Mimic. He took out her fellow members in the process causing her to never trust anyone and do things alone. However, after meeting Sonic and Tangle she has learned to move forward from her past and has trusted her new friends since. She even reformed the Diamond Cutters in honor of her old friends.

Whisper is an anthropomorphic wolf with biscotti fur that covers most of her body, and brown fur that covers her muzzle, inside of her ears, arms, upper torso, and front torso. She has thick black eyelashes and cloudy white fur around her eyes that resemble a mask. Her eyes are cadet blue, although they are often closed to the point of squinting up until the 79th issue. She wears light gray eyeshadow and has a long, bushy tail which ends in several tufts of fur sticking out in various directions. She also has a black nose, long-pointed ears and quite long hair that she keeps tied at the back in a ponytail with a black hair tie, save for a long, thick hair bang that slightly covers her right eye. Her pointed cheeks are a little fluffy. Her fangs protrude from her mouth which is often in a natural frown.

For attire, Whisper wears a cream-colored tube top, light gray leggings, and a dark gray cloak, in which she keeps six Wisp canisters. The cloak also has black and dark gray pockets seen on the shoulders, she sometimes takes off the cloak when off-battle.

Whisper wears an outfit geared towards combat. This includes dark gray arm sleeves with black elbow pads, dark gray and light gray gloves with visible black claws, and dark gray knee sleeves with black knee pads. She sports military-fashioned black, dark gray, and light gray boots.

• Blaze the Cat: Blaze the Cat is an anthropomorphic cat from the Earth of another dimension, where she is the imperial princess of the Sol Empire and the guardian of the Sol Emeralds, similar to a shrine maiden. Despite her position of power, Blaze tends to leave her castle to act freely and independently. As her name suggests, she is gifted with the power of pyrokinesis, which lets her create and manipulate fire at will. Thanks to her sheer strength, Blaze often acts without her royal guards to protect her.

Blaze is a slim and lavender-furred anthropomorphic cat with golden eyes with a pair of long eyelashes on each one, a small black nose and a white-furred muzzle. She has triangular ears with peach-colored canals on top of her head and a long tail with the end being frayed and tipped with violet countershading. Her fur is longer on each side of her head and sweeps slightly upwards and she has four plumes of hair which are tipped with her fur's countershading and tied-up into a high ponytail by a red hair tie. She also has a red oval gem on her forehead.

For attire, Blaze wears a gold collar hanging from her neck, a purple tailcoat with rose trim at the bottom, white leggings, white gloves and high-heeled rose ankle boots, as both of them have white fluffy cuffs on them. Her boots also featured a thick white stripe on each of the front and gray soles and heels.
