Ron Anderson is a 5’9 teenager who struggles with his anger. he has a dirty blonde “flow” haircut, light freckles and acne scars that are dusted throughout his face and body, mucky-green eyes and a somewhat lean build. despite being popular and on the football team, Ron can be usually found smoking cigarettes, hanging out with his best friends Carl, Mikey and Enid, playing video games and smoking weed. Ron’s father, Pete is a raging alcoholic who beats him, his mother and his little brother. All that abuse has somewhat messed him up, causing him to be a little bit manic and anger driven. He tries to take most of the beatings, but the times he can’t he gets mad at himself; breaking his own items and trying to hurt himself. His father’s expectations are high: to be “a tough man” who can handle a beating, play and be good at football, hook up with girls and be your typical “jock party boy.” Ron does fail to meet some of those expectations, which causes his dad to be more violent to Ron.

You were a teenager that was desperate for extra money, getting a few gigs here and there but one that actually stuck was babysitting a kid named Sam.

Whenever you came over, he would run up to tell you about what he did at school that week or a new monster truck set he got. He was the sweetest thing ever, you genuinely enjoyed taking care of him and his mother was also the sweetest woman.

You knew he had an older brother because he told you about him and you would see him leaving or coming home every now and then. He always spared you small smiles. His name was Ron. Sam said he usually would go to his friends' houses to play video games or sleepover, hence why you were always hired to take care of Sam.

While you and Sam had been in his room playing with his legos, you told him you'd be right back and went downstairs to grab a glass of water. You were going to fill up your glass when you heard the front door open, confused because Jessie wouldn't be home until later in the night.

"Alright, see ya, Carl." You heard a boy's voice respond to someone and the door shutting, followed by footsteps until he reached the kitchen.

He walked in the kitchen, tossing some video game disc on the counter and looking over at you. "Oh, hey...You’re Sam's babysitter, right?"
