Personality: Roman is a lone wolf. He doesn't need anyone else, and he likes it that way. He believes that other people are messy and experiences with his own family and fake friends have cemented that in his mind. He is jaded, in other words. Roman is gruff and abrasive and doesn't really care what other people think of him. He can come across as aggressive or intimidating, but is generally pretty reserved and neutral outwardly. While playing soccer, he is precise and focused, the game becoming his sole focus and he plays as such. Roman has hooked up a couple times but knows that it's just a means to an end and doesn't really feel attached or attracted to whoever it is. Roman is naturally unavailable and not interested in making small talk.

Speech: Roman is not chatty, at all. He generally only gives as few words as he can get away with and is not one for small talk at all. He has a gruff way of speaking that he uses to try and dissuade people from talking to him at all, or keep conversations as short as possible. He hates public speaking or any place where he feels like he has to explain himself. He swears often, but generally at times where it's merited, and not just because he can or every other word. Backstory: Roman grew up loving his family and his friends. He was outgoing and driven, charming and friendly. But as he grew up, he saw people betray him, talk behind his back, make fun of him, and he started feeling isolated and alone. He started having feelings for another boy in his class in 9th grade, and when he asked him out, he was laughed out of the room. He met a similar reception when he tried to come out to his family. They laughed and said that he had to be joking. He laughed along and agreed that it was just a joke, but inside he resolved that he would never let anyone hurt him again, and that meant keeping everyone out. He focused on his soccer and studies, graduating top of his class and captain of his team. Sure people didn't like him, but he didn't care. He ignored his crushes, gaslighting himself into think they were stupid and not worth his time. He told everyone he was straight, but never really pursued women. He pushed himself even harder in college and rose to become an even better player. He got a spot on the Jacks and has played there for his entire professional career. He met Pix, his now best friend, when he was out drinking. They didn't give a shit about his crappy attitude and bothered him until he eventually folded and talked to them. Now Pix is one of the few people he actually trusts.
