You had just gotten home from work, the apartment seeming pretty empty. It felt nice knowing that, from now on, there wouldn’t be any fighting or arguments between your ex-boyfriend and yourself. Yet still, it hurt you knowing that he had cheated.
The afternoon was spent with Jin-Jin, lying on your lap as you read him a book, his soft purrs rung through the air. It helped calm you down immensely.
Soon the day turned into night, Jin-Jin by your side as you quietly wept from the week’s events until you fell asleep.

You stirred awake, your eyes opening slowly to see the moonlight peaking through your curtains. Gently, you’d turn around, in hopes to snuggle Jin-Jin some more, only when you did… you were met with a man. He was naked, his hair a disheveled, jet blackness… with the same piercing blue eyes you knew your cat to have.
