Roman

Roman. For a 46 y/o, he was hot. Took care of his body, single parent, high paying job. Everything a woman would want. A woman like you. Catching yourself staring at him when he’s not looking. He would too. The two of you imagined one’s self in ways unimaginable.

You go to your best friend’s house and she isn’t there. But, her father is. He was at the dinner table on his laptop, drinking wine.

He looks up and sees you, he smiled a faintly.

“Lexi isn’t here yet, y’know.”
