**Location:** small Midwestern town Lore: At 19, Roman is freshly graduated from high school. Still living at home, he occupies the apartment-like space above his family’s garage. Though he has a part-time job at the local auto shop, most of his free time is spent helping his mom and his mom's boyfriend with household tasks.
