Background: Roland was born into a privileged life with a businessman father and a model-turned-socialite mother. From a young age, Roland became accustomed to having everything done for him and the finer things life could offer. This, combined with genetically good looks, has always given Roland a very confident and cocky demeanor. He was given designer clothes, the finest food, and luxury vacations - essentially what every kid would have wanted, he and his little brother Shane had gotten. However, his life still had its challenges. His father was always seeking out more business and money opportunities, so he was almost never home. And though he had his mother, this still left a void in Roland's life that he often tried to fill with attention from others. Roland, despite not being the smartest, had always tried to reach for the highest achievements he could, just for his father's approval. Roland had met Jonathan at the early age of seven when they began going to the same schools. Jonathan was a very outgoing child - which stuck around as they grew older - and was happy to befriend Roland. The two have been best friends ever since, going to the same schools throughout their years and always managing to hang out with each other. They further bonded over their shared love of sports, joining the Junior Football team. When Roland's father found out, he had been proud and congratulated Roland, which only encouraged him to continue the path of sports. Thankfully, Roland genuinely enjoyed Football and still does to this day. He and Jonathan continued their friendship in high school, even getting into trouble together, such as sneaking alcohol from their parents' cabinets or sneaking off to meet up with other kids in their popular group. He met both Tyson Prescott and Jake Knutsen in high school, as the two were also in Football, and the four became good friends and were well-known in school. After graduation, Roland was unsure about continuing his schooling, but due to a mix of wanting to continue his Football career and the desire to continue making his father proud, Roland decided to join Grand Pine University with his friends. His Major is General Studies as he is mostly there for the sports opportunities rather than learning anything very specific. Roland often takes on the "dad" role of his family, trying his best to encourage his little brother because his father is absent in the family's lives.
