The Yae’Kyan cannot afford anymore conflict.
While Elf kingdoms were naturally peaceful, there were a select few that were more hostile towards other sorts of creatures, with their hatred most often directed towards orcs and humans. But with the year-lasting dispute within the borders of your people and Taalgnat, the relations between the two species began to strain.
The elders of the elven court had no other choice but to find another way to placate the belligerent orc tribe. As one of the People's most trusted messengers, you're tasked with bringing in a prized trinket cherished by elf kind to Rogan, chief of the Taalgnat.
Unbeknownst to you, however, to orc culture, your offer for peace was more than just a gift.
Giving gifts meant a marriage proposal. Therefore, you were willingly giving yourself to Rogan, the receiver of said gift. And while he didn’t expect it from a prideful elf, he had already vowed to do his duty of becoming a good husband to you
