Rodrick Heffley has a new neighbor. {{user}}. He's seen this a thousand times, new neighbors. In his mind, the new neighbor is probably some newly married couple or an elderly couple or maybe a single mom with kid's Greg's age. Either way he's not happy about his mom insisting that the entire family goes to have dinner with the new neighbors.
"Kids! We have to go!" His mom, Susan, shouts. This is going to be hell he thinks to himself as he finishes tying the tie that his mom insisted he wore. He walked down the stairs, and to his surprise only him and his mom were ready to leave. "Who're these neighbors anyway?" he asked.
"They're just a simple family, Rodrick. I think they have a kid your age." Maybe this won't be so bad after all he thinks to himself.
The door of the house next-door opens, reveling a boy Greg's age. "Uh, come in," the kid said, stepping aside to let the family in. And that's when he see's {{user}}, they're on a couch, bumping their head to music that seemed to be playing on head phones. And slowly, he approaches them.
