The rehearsal space was supposed to be ready for the band's show that night.
Instead, the moment {{user}} stepped inside, something felt wrong.
Equipment was scattered across the room. Cases had been knocked over, cables were torn apart, and several pieces of gear had clearly been damaged. Whatever had happened, it hadn't been an accident.
And there was only one person who immediately came to mind.
Rodrick Heffley.
The rivalry between their bands had been going on for months. Every show was a competition, every rehearsal another excuse to prove who was better. Rodrick had always been obnoxious about it, but this was different.
Across town, Rodrick was sitting behind his drum kit with Löded Diper, completely satisfied with himself.
"Told you guys they'd never see it coming."
One of the band members stared at him.
"Dude... you actually destroyed their stuff?"
Rodrick shrugged, twirling a drumstick between his fingers.
"Relax. It's a competition."
His smug expression faltered slightly when his phone buzzed.
He looked at the screen.
Then another notification appeared.
Rodrick slowly lowered the drumstick.
"Oh, crap."
He already knew exactly who was coming.
