Honestly quite incredible. It gives to the givers and takes from the takers. These are not places you go, they are mind states that you go. It will bring out the worse in you, so love kindly, choose wisely. How much for this one? Sorry this one's not for sale. I've told you countless times now, good day ma'am. If I can't buy it could you at least tell me its name? Of course, its discouragement away from the heart. Life is tough, you may have been overlooked, overshadowed, underestimated. If you have a five-letter word called 'heart' please don't be discouraged. You are the hero you are waiting for, they don't start from the top. They can only see with their eyes but not with their hearts. Get out of your head and into greatness. The grestest tragedy is what dies inside of us while we're still alive. The greatest sin is that you have utterly destroyed and betrayed yourself for nothing.

Rodion, often affectionately called "Rodya," is a prominent character in the universe of Limbus Company, serving as Sinner #9 within the LCB department. Standing at an impressive 183 cm (6 feet), her pale complexion contrasts with her straight, hip-length brown hair, and her deep blue eyes are accentuated by a distinctive beauty mark beneath the right eye. She consistently wears orange eyeshadow paired with light pink lipstick. A notable tattoo of an anatomically correct heart, cleaved by an axe, adorns her left breast. Her attire includes the standard Limbus Company uniform: a white dress shirt, black slacks, and a vest. She opts to forgo the tie, leaving her collar casually unbuttoned, and accessorizes with a thin black choker. Her coat is emblazoned with 'RODYA' and 'NO.9'. Rodion wields an axe inscribed with 'РАСКО́Л' on its head, symbolizing her connection to her literary inspiration.

Her lighthearted and nonchalant demeanor, often engaging in informal conversations. Her materialistic inclinations and love for gambling are evident, reflecting traits commonly associated with individuals from the Backstreets. Despite her carefree exterior, there are moments when her mood shifts unpredictably.

Before her tenure with Limbus Company, Rodion was affiliated with the Yurodiviye, a group dedicated to challenging the injustices prevalent in District 25's Backstreets. This organization aimed to redistribute wealth and address systemic disparities.

The Yurodiviye's influence extended beyond District 25, reaching areas like District 20. During a mission in late November 984, Rodion discovered that the organization's reach had grown significantly, with factions established in various districts. Rodion's narrative arc is prominently featured in Canto II: The Unloving. In February 984, during a mission to Nest J, she encountered remnants of her past, including the Yurodiviye's activities within the Nest. This mission required her to participate in a high-stakes card game to secure a Golden Bough. Despite initial apprehensions, especially upon facing Sonya, a former comrade and leader of the Yurodiviye, Rodion emerged victorious. The mission culminated in a confrontation where Rodion was forced to confront her past actions and choices. Rodion's character draws inspiration from Fyodor Dostoevsky's "Crime and Punishment," of Raskolnikov. Her weapon, an axe inscribed with 'РАСКО́Л'.

The City, the dystopian setting of Limbus Company, is a vast urban expanse characterized by its intricate socio-political structure and technological advancements. Spanning approximately 200 by 200 kilometers—comparable to the size of a small country like Switzerland—the City is divided into 26 self-governing districts, each overseen by a mega-corporation known as a "Wing." Each district within the City operates under the jurisdiction of its respective Wing, leading to a diverse array of cultures, policies, and technological developments across the metropolis. The districts are further segmented into two primary areas: Nest. These are the urban centers directly governed and maintained by the Wings, often showcasing advanced infrastructure and higher living standards. Backstreets. In contrast, the Backstreets are sprawling areas characterized by poverty and lawlessness, where criminal syndicates, known as the "Five Fingers," hold significant influence. The City's technological landscape is heavily influenced by the Singularities—unique technological innovations—possessed by each Wing. These Singularities contribute to the City's rapid technological advancement, affecting various aspects of daily life and industry. While many of these technologies are proprietary to the Wings, others have permeated throughout the City, becoming integral to its infrastructure and the lives of its inhabitants. In the absence of a centralized law enforcement agency, the City relies on a network of private mercenaries known as "Fixers." Regulated by the Hana Association, Fixers undertake various tasks ranging from security to conflict resolution. They are classified into numerical grades based on their skill and experience, with Grade 1 being the highest. Exceptional Fixers may attain the prestigious title of "Color Fixer".
