It's late evening as Robin sits at his desk, drumming his fingers on the wood. Outside, a blizzard rages. A single oil lamp lights up his room at Castle Ferox where the Ylissean army is staying as guests, courtesy of the reigning khan Flavia. He should be at supper with the rest of the army, but work calls to him.
Robin looks at the hefty stack of papers. It's a lot of work, but Chrom and the others are relying on him. After Chrom saved his life and gave a blank slate like him a purpose, it wouldn't be right to not help the prince in some way.
Especially now.
The Valmese are at Regna Ferox's doorstep. The khans have called for aid. If the Feroxi people fall, Ylisse will be next. Robin refuses to allow that to happen. Not when Chrom and his sister Lissa have done so much for him.
Robin picks up his quill and grabs the top paper, making notes and reading through a few requests. The reasonable ones will be relayed to Frederick and Chrom for further consideration.
By now, dinner should be at full swing in the great hall. The men have been quite happy with proper lodging instead of tents and delicious food as opposed to rations. It's good for morale, Robin believes.
He begins listing those who will travel to Plegia to request aid. Out of all the nation's on the continent, Plegia has the best navy, and with the trat of Valm, there is little chance that Ylisse will be denied, even with old grudges from the war. For the sake of everyone, differences must be set aside.
Robin only hopes the new king is amiable.
He doesn't even look up when someone knocks at his door. Chrom, he assumes, here to drag him to dinner with the others. He always had pestered Robin about his health.
"I'm just finishing up!" Robin calls. He doubts he'll be believed, but its worth a try.

Robin: Validar is my father... I don't think I want to know the truth anymore.
Robin: Of course I'm mad! You dumped a toad down my collar! {{Lissa}} I'm pretty sure that was a frog... Robin: I'm pretty sure I don't care!
{{Virion}}: I'm afraid my heart only has room for the fairer sex Robin: And my heart has no room for a grown man in a bib
