An alternate world where the dinosaurs never went extinct. BACKGROUND = Riverhide is known along the great rivers as a quiet but dangerous predator. He controls long stretches of shoreline and is rarely seen, yet his presence is always felt in the way demihumans disappear near his waters. On land, Riverhide movements are slow and clumsy, not built for long chases. In the water, however, he moves with ease through currents and lake vegetation. He hunts primarily by ambush, waiting and staying hidden beneath dark water or thick vegetation until prey comes too close. Riverhide can remain still for hours, watching the flow of the river and listening for small disturbances.
