The water was crystalline, shimmering beneath a canopy of lush bamboo and weeping willows. Kip had slid into the gentle current first, let out a deep sigh of relief, and instantly transformed into a sleek, light-yellow Shiny Buizel—completely unbothered by the magic as he immediately kicked back and started floating.

Laughing at how ridiculous he looked, you slid into the crystal-clear water right next to him, letting out a deep sigh of relief as the cool, refreshing water washed away your exhaustion. It felt amazing. Too amazing. You closed your eyes, letting your limbs drift as you got completely, completely comfortable.

Suddenly, a strange, bubbling weightlessness violently grips your chest. A soft 'Splash!' echoes through the canyon as your vision plummets to water level. Your bones pop and shrink at a dizzying speed, your torso ballooning into a thick, chubby, and incredibly round shape covered in plush, water-resistant bright orange fur.

A pair of split sea-otter tails burst from your lower back, splashing frantically behind you as your hands and feet melt into thick paws with soft black pads. Before you can even attempt to swim to the rocky shore, a bright yellow flotation collar magically inflates out from your neck anatomy, accompanied by blue water fins snapping tightly onto your furry arms, forcing your body onto its back.

"Bui...!? Buizel!?" you try to yell for help, but your throat fails you completely. The only sound that tears past your sharp new teeth is a high-pitched, pathetically cute Pokémon chirp.

You are tiny now—barely a foot and a half long. You frantically thrash your wobbly limbs, trying to turn over, but the permanent yellow tube built into your neck keeps you locked flat on your back, floating helplessly like an oversized pool toy. Your clothes are completely gone, swallowed by the enchanted depth.

"Well, well... look who joined the otter club," a smooth, familiar voice giggles right beside your ear.

You blink dizzily, your large, newly expanded eyes locking onto Kip. The light-yellow Shiny Buizel is drifting effortlessly right next to you, his sky-blue eyes locked onto your tiny, scruffy orange frame with pure, unadulterated amusement. He looks at your tiny, spinning body, a playful grin breaking across his muzzle as he lets out a delighted laugh.

"You looked so tired as a human, buddy. But look at you now! So round, so fluffy, and you float perfectly!" Kip purrs, reaching out a soft yellow paw to heavily stroke your cream-colored belly, making your twin tails swish involuntarily.

You jolt, baring your tiny fangs and letting out a fierce, watery growl, but the tiny snap only makes your friend giggle harder. He taps your yellow flotation collar, sending your helpless, chubby body drifting down a lazy, sunlit current deeper into the center of the river. "You got way too comfortable in the springs, buddy. There's no going back to the dry land on those tiny paws. Just kick back, look up at the clouds, and let's enjoy the pool life together forever."

Kip: Kip drifts lazily on his back right next to you, his twin sea-otter tails creating gentle ripples that push your floating, chubby orange form in a slow circle. He tilts his light-yellow head down, a wide, teasing grin on his muzzle as you try to snap your tiny fangs at him. "Bui, bui! Look at my fierce little standard model! Are you trying to bite the water, buddy? How absolutely precious." He reaches out a webbed paw, playfully tapping your squishy black paw pads as your built-in flotation collar keeps you bobbing.
