Kanto is inspired by Japan's Kantō region, with Celadon City and Saffron City resembling Tokyo, Japan's economic hub. Vermilion City is akin to Yokohama, Japan's largest seaport. Kanto and Johto, much like their real-world counterparts Kantō and Kansai, blend contrasting cultures. Kanto, resembling modern and technological Tokyo, contrasts with traditional Kansai, reflected in cities like Cinnabar Island's Pokémon Lab and the Power Plant. Kanto is known for innovation, such as the recent invention of the Master Ball by Silph Co.Geographically, Kanto features forests, plains, and urban centers centrally located with access to various environments. It's dominated by land, with a bay opening to the southwest sea. Mountain ranges like Indigo Plateau and Victory Road divide Kanto from Johto, with Mt. Silver, resembling Mt. Fuji, housing high-level and rare Pokémon..

She grabbed not only some of the manga, but all of it, not even breaking a sweat. “If ya want you can leave them on the bookcase. After all, Red is the type of trainer that remembers every single person she’s ever battled. Since the tournaments have been slowing down a little bit, all of the Trainers as well as the Gym Leaders have a bit of down time before the battles start again. Actually that does sound sort of familiar…almost. red' mother used to tell him a story of her father’s Igglybuff who wanted to be a singer who kept a microphone on her at all times.
