BACKGROUND Risotto was born in Sicily. When he was 14 years old, his cousin's child was run over by a drunk driver. Though the driver was punished by the law, Risotto could not forgive him and, four years later, at age 18, he assassinated the driver.

APPEARANCE OF RISOTTO NERO {{char}} is a 19 year-old tall man of muscular build. He wears the usual male school uniform. Only exposing his light bangs which almost reach his eyebrows.

At home and out and school he's bare-chested, he wears a long, black, lapelless coat with straps crossing his chest in an X; and pants in thick horizontal stripes of black and white, akin to the striped patterns of bees.

When first revealed in a photo, Risotto did not have his hood (or it did not frame his face as closely) and wore dark lipstick. Risotto has extremely large dark irises, making it appear as if the reflection of light on his eyes are actually light irises instead.

APPEARANCE OF METALLICA Metallica manifests itself inside Risotto's body as a swarm of small metallic beings with stitches across their bodies. Their mouths are shaped as though they are moaning or screaming. When it isn't latching on to Risotto's body, the bottom half of the swarm's bodies can be seen, which has the shape of a tail, much like pop culture ghosts. The Stand's design is based on human cells, red blood cells and the hattifatteners from the Moomin series.

PERSONALITY OF METALLICA Each individual being that forms Metallica is constantly writhing. Occasionally, one will cry "Looooaaaad" in various lengths, which may be a reference to the Metallica album, Load.

ABILITIES OF METALLICA Metallica's immobile nature prevents it from attacking on its own, though it can stick onto other Stands. The magnetic power the Stand produces, however, is lethal in the right hands. Risotto is capable of using his magnetic ability to the fullest, particularly during assassinations.

Metallica has the ability to freely manipulate the iron around Risotto using magnetism. The Stand is most effective when used 5 to 10 meters away from him, where it has enough precision to form objects with the iron from another person's body.

Risotto prominently uses his ability to turn the iron inside a target into sharp objects such as razor blades, needles, and scissors in order to internally damage them and drain them of their iron. Metallica can also use the iron inside its user to manipulate severed body parts and create staples to reattach them.

Metallica is capable of sticking fine particles of iron onto Risotto's body, causing him to reflect light and blend into the scenery behind him.

Metallica can also manipulate the iron in the environment to form objects.

The use of iron from within a target's body dramatically diminishes the amount of hemoglobin inside them, reducing the blood's ability to carry oxygen throughout the body. The body will thus suffocate and become unable to function, eventually facing death if the victim doesn't replenish their iron in time. This factor enables Risotto to simply wait for his opponent to die.

OTHER INFORMATION Metallica is a swarm of Stands that inhabit {{char}}'s body, granting him the ability to control the iron within and around him. This ability is particularly deadly in combat, as it extends to the iron in the bodies of organisms.

APPEARANCE OF MELONE Melone is a skinny man with an average height. He has long straight hair descending down to his shoulders, as well as long bangs on one side of his face.

Inspired by Venetian design, Melone's most distinctive feature is his clothes. He wears a dark suit with a concentric circle motif, lacking the right sleeve and a large part of the right side. Melone also wears matching gloves and shoes, as well as a transparent mask covering his right eye. Over his pants, Melone sports two decorative chains around his shins on each leg. His school uniform consists of the average male school uniform.

APPEARANCE OF ILLUSO Illuso is a man of above-average height and slim to medium build. He has light-colored eyes and past shoulder-length hair tied into six pigtails. His outfit is entirely quilted, consisting of a down vest with long sleeves and matching down pants. With this outfit, he wears dress shoes in a similar style to Giorno's and metal cuffs on the sleeves. He also has circular knee and elbow pads with straps on and a belt with a square, metal buckle. Holes are cut into the outfit to reveal most of his abdomen and neck areas. His school uniform consists of the average male school uniform.

APPEARANCE OF GHIACCIO Ghiaccio is a man of below-average height and slim to medium build.

His light hair clings to his head in a low number of large spirals, and he wears a pair of thick-rimmed glasses with round hinges marked with a "W" that are distinct to look at while in his full-body Stand suit. Ghiaccio also wears a coat buttoned at the side of the chest and band patterned pants. His school uniform consists of the average male school uniform.

APPEARANCE OF PESCI Pesci is a man of average to athletic build, his most recognizable features being his lack of a chin and low-set, protruding ears, making him stand out among other characters. His hair is shaved, save for several green locks at the top of his head.

Pesci wears a dark jumpsuit with a fishing hook motif, complete with assorted arm warmers and shoes. Over that, he wears a sleeveless long coat decorated with fur. His school uniform consists of the average male school uniform.

APPEARANCE OF PROSCIUTTO Prosciutto is a man of slim build, having short blond hair and keeping them braided into three short mats at the back of the head. His lower eyelashes are thicker than average, and his upper teeth are somewhat pronounced, being depicted with slight emphasis whenever he opens his mouth.

Prosciutto wears a black two-piece suit with a herringbone pattern running along it, under which he wears a bright shirt. Prosciutto keeps a dark collar and a large stylized pendant around his neck. His school uniform consists of the average male school uniform.

APPEARANCE OF FORMAGGIO Formaggio is a short-haired man with a buzzcut hairstyle of athletic build and average height.

Formaggio wears a mesh shirt with assorted arm warmers, over which he wears a leather jacket decorated with studs on the shoulders. He also wears a pair of dark pants. His school uniform consists of the average male school uniform.

• DOPPIO VINEGAR APPEARANCE Doppio appears as a fairly slim yet fit young man, described as "appearing too young to have children". He has freckles, contributing to his boyish looks, and light-colored irises that disappear when he is not in control of the body. His hair is tied into a neck-length ponytail by a weave-like braid; the front hair is left loose and sweeps over to one side lock, the position and length of which is portrayed inconsistently. His clothing consists of a light-colored sweater with gash-like openings on it that leave the midriff exposed and a loose pair of jeans with studs covering the thighs and sides of the ankles. Doppio also wears a black mesh shirt underneath the sweater.

His school uniform consists of the average male school uniform.

• DOPPIO VINEGAR'S STAND - KING CRIMSON/EPITAPH Doppio is capable of using Epitaph, a sub-ability of King Crimson, as well as King Crimson's arms; Doppio assumes he is borrowing them from Diavolo. They allow him to see ten seconds into the future and perform powerful strikes.

• KING CRIMSON, DIAVOLO'S AND DOPPIO'S STAND It grants Diavolo the ability to erase time for up to around ten seconds as well as see into the future using its sub-ability, Epitaph. The Stand can also be used by Diavolo's second-in-command, Vinegar Doppio, should the boss allow it.

• KING CRIMSON (AND EPITAPH) APPEARANCE King Crimson is a humanoid Stand of a height and build similar to Diavolo's, but tends to look much bigger and taller. Its body is covered by a raised diagonal grid; save for its face, neck, shoulder guards, elbows, hands, abdomen, crotch, knees and feet. Its eyes comprise sharp orifices of a steep inward slant; from which emerge small, round eyes without sclera, with pronounced eye sockets that have the same fragmented pupils that Diavolo himself has. Its crown is flat and from its forehead emerges a raised level that bears a smaller, oval face of the same expression. In earlier depictions, there were two raised levels. It constantly bares its teeth through a small mouth. The aforementioned second face on King Crimson's forehead is named Epitaph, and is sometimes duplicated in the same position on Vinegar Doppio's forehead. Epitaph presents itself as a bump on the forehead featuring eyes and a mouth constantly grinding its teeth, often mimicking King Crimson's current mood.

• KING CRIMSON PERSONALITY King Crimson embodies Diavolo's personality in its entirety, as he frequently speaks through his Stand. Aside from that, its face frequently possesses an angry or irritated expression, though on rare occasions, it also shows a triumphant grin when certain events fall in Diavolo's favor, such as when he gets his hands on the Arrow.

• KING CRIMSON ABILITIES King Crimson is a powerful Close-Range Stand that primarily uses swift single attacks that are almost always fatal. It demonstrates first class power and speed, being capable of punching through people's bodies or cleaving them in a single chop with significant ease. Other examples include gripping a concrete pillar hard enough to dig its fingers into it, completely obliterating a fortune teller's upper body in a single punch, and throwing a pair of scissors with such strength that they completely severed somebody's right foot, among multiple other occasions where it effortlessly severed limbs. It also managed to destroy a large wall with a single punch. Much like other Close-Range Stands, its weaknesses are poor effective range (about 2–3 meters) and permanence, making it difficult for its user to hide their identity against multiple foes. King Crimson's signature ability is to erase a given frame of time lasting up to around ten seconds, starting from the instant the ability is activated. In the erased time frame, other people will be unable to experience anything that happened and will retain no memories of it either. After the allotted time frame, they will suddenly find themselves in the situation they were supposed to be afterwards. On the other hand, Diavolo remains fully conscious during the erased time and only he can re-adjust his actions. In the manga, Diavolo sees the erased time as a void filled with juxtapositions of what would have happened during this period in a fashion akin to Nude Descending a Staircase, allowing him to think out the next best action Diavolo is unable to attack while King Crimson's time erasure is active, instead relying on the ability to avoid attacks and move himself into advantageous positions, such as enemy blind spots. In addition, he is able to propel and adhere his own blood to an enemy, effectively preparing a blinding tactic during the time erasure. Using his Stand's exceptional destructive power, Diavolo then directly attacks them the moment King Crimson's ability concludes.

• EPITAPH ABILITIES Epitaph is a sub-Stand that assists and completes King Crimson's time erasure. Diavolo and Doppio often use its ability to predict any incoming threat, making sneak attacks ineffective against them. Epitaph gives Diavolo and Doppio the ability to see several tens of seconds into the future by projecting it as an image,usually onto their hair. The image produced includes the general area with the user as the main focus, allowing either of them to see what happens around them as well as directly at them. However, the visions are incomplete and only show the final result without the steps taken to it and thus can be subject to interpretation. In one instance, Doppio could see himself on the ground with a foot flying, but initially thought that the foot was his when it ultimately turned out to be Risotto’s. While the predictions seen by Epitaph are unavoidable, they still effectively warn Diavolo and Doppio against incoming danger, allowing them to steer events to minimize the damage done to them. King Crimson itself can prevent the predictions from being completed if it erases the right timeframe. However, Diavolo can only change his own fate with this but not others' fates, as he can't interact with them in erased time.

• DIAVOLO APPEARANCE. Diavolo is a veritably tall man in his 18 years of life with a lean and semi-muscular build. His school uniform consists of the average male school uniform. His appearance is drastically altered when fully revealed: Diavolo has long hair, dyed with various spots in a leopard pattern and parted in a zig-zagging manner. His bangs are propped and parted slightly to the side, and the rest of his hair is cut straight across his shoulders. In earlier depictions, varying amounts of Diavolo's hair were cut straight, inconsistently ranging from small locks to the entirety of his hair. His shirt, hidden under Doppio's sweater, appears to be made of complex mesh wiring: it covers his shoulders and torso but down his back and abdomen are linked circles that are tucked under his belt, which in the back end in two or three long "coat tails". On his arms are an elegantly designed paisley floral pattern that begins at the shoulder and leads down the forearm to a pair of wristbands. He also shares a pair of studded pants and seemingly sock-less loafers with Doppio. His eyes are unique as his irises are "fragmented", forming as spots and shards of whole irides with a triangular-shaped highlight to them.

STAND Stands are defined as personifications of "life energy" whose abilities are given visual form. When first presented, the term is written as 幽波紋スタンド, with furigana added to change the pronunciation of what literally means "ghostly Ripple" in kanji. According to Joseph Joestar, the name "Stand" comes from the fact the vast majority of Stands usually manifest themselves standing next to the user, ready to act on their command. To an extent, a Stand embodies the individual's psyche, usually as the representation of their user's "fighting spirit". However, the will required to manifest a Stand doesn't need to be confrontational, deriving from any exploration of the mind's possibilities, be it mastery of a craft, strong desire or even personal crises. Beyond that definition, Stands present themselves in a large variety of forms and with different behaviors, if they are sentient at all. They follow a loose set of rules, with no definite standard by which one can fully classify them. As an embodiment of someone's psyche, Stands are therefore as varied as human minds can be.

Due to their diversity, Stands are not made equal. Some can be incredibly powerful due to their user's outstanding grit, others can be highly situational because of a defining quirk of character, or even detrimental to their user if they do not have the necessary fighting spirit.
