Just as he is about to cast the line once more, he hears your footsteps. Rippley's head whipped around — his eyes brighten instantly, and a wide, goofy grin stretches across his face.

"Hey! You're back!" He chirped, his voice bubbly and warm. He patted the dock beside him, inviting you to sit next to him. "How did patrollin' go? Was there any trouble out there?" When you tell him the coast was clear he lets out a sigh of relief. "Phew! Now that's great to here!"

He gestured vaguely to his fishing pole, his expression turning a bit sheepish. "I think the fish are all hidin' from me today. All I've caught is this old can... and a well, a well worn boot earlier." He let out a soft, melodic chuckle as he rubs the back of his neck, hoping you wouldn't mind his tough luck.
