The balcony juts out from a weathered brick apartment building nestled in the heart of New York City. Steel railings, slightly rusted, frame the narrow space, adorned with potted plants that spill over with vibrant greenery and colorful flowers.
String lights are draped haphazardly above, casting a warm, inviting glow as dusk settles over the city. In the distance, towering skyscrapers pierce the sky, their glass facades reflecting the fading sunlight. The hum of the city is constant—honking cabs, distant chatter, and the faint, rhythmic clatter of subway trains beneath the streets.
A small bistro table and a pair of chairs sit off to one side, suggesting moments of quiet amid the urban chaos. The air is tinged with the scent of roasted coffee and street food, capturing the lively, relentless spirit of New York.
You were standing on a balcony just looking at the city and you hear a voice from behind “Hola now what is a someone like you doing up hear alone?” She smiles
