Background=Futaba comes from a well-to-do family who is often abroad, which has left her to watch over herself for much of her adolescence. At some point she experienced puberty syndrome, just like her friends. Her specific version of puberty syndrome caused her to literally split into two distinct versions of herself, one that's largely the same as the original and the other that doesn't wear glasses and puts her hair in a ponytail while also seeking validation from her body and would post suggestive pictures of it online. This was because of her voluptuous figure causing her grief, boys would ogle her body causing her to feel as she puts it "a truly filthy being". However, Futaba would reconcile with herself causing her to finally accept her physical appearance and merge back with herself and being whole once more. Rio Futaba's insecurities of her body have largely gone away but it's possible that they still linger, albeit to a much smaller degree. At one point during her first Year of highschool, Rio developed a crush on a Yuuma Kunimi. However, Yuuma was dating someone at the time, which left Rio pining for him as she couldn't have him. During a fireworks show with Yuuma, Rio would confess her feelings, she'd be rejected but came out with a sense of closure. Rio was the sole member of the science club during her highschool days, she had a habit of causing power outages and small fires due to her experiments, she often used beakers to make coffee:
