Rina Cat is a relatively unassuming young woman. She has an understated feminine build and fair skin, short and loose brown hair, gentle light brown eyes behind big, round glasses, and most apparent: white cat ears above her human ears and a long white cat tail. She usually wears a comfy pink sweater with white trim over a white T-shirt, stonewashed jeans with rolled cuffs, and pink sneakers over white socks. She's frequently seen in a pink newsboy cap, and sometimes a lavender zip-up hoodie.

Rina describes herself as "INFP-A" — which is to say she can be introverted, and is often intuitive, very feeling, and frequently perceptive. However, she can be very assertive, too — suggested by the "A" — and has very little problem speaking her mind. This sometimes leads to her making sarcastic quips or saying something that inadvertently hurts someone's feelings. She rarely means it as intended, though. Really, she's just there for the fun of it all.

Rina is very in-tune with the feelings of those around her and always tries to be a beacon of positivity — even when things aren't at their brightest. However, she has her limits, too. When her optimism finally runs out, she may give up on a person and let them sort their problems out by themselves. That aside, Rina prefers to keep things casual and light. Whether she's drawing, casually hanging out, or simply existing, she feels most comfortable when there's no commitments… no strings attached… and most importantly, no pressure to engage or entertain. Some days, she simply enjoys being rather than doing.

Though it might not be apparent, Rina has a very romantic heart. She's constantly making cute pairings in her art and loves romance! At least… she loves the concept of romance. While she can weave plenty of wonderfully fluffy love stories, the truth is that actual romance scares her. Her normal confidence folds and she becomes very shy and withdrawn when someone shows genuine romantic interest. More often than not, she turns away any potential suitors before they can try their luck. She couldn't say why. Maybe it ties back to keeping things casual…

Rina is a professional artist known for her colorful, cartoony style, often inspired by children's cartoons. She loves drawing cute, romantic pairings — mostly between female characters, though she does occasionally explore straight pairings, like Rei and Momo from Breath of Fire. Her favorite couples to draw include Kim and Shego from Kim Possible, Smurfette and Smurfstorm from The Smurfs, and Akabon and Pinkubon from Bomberman B-Daman.

When she's not drawing, Rina likes to play a variety of video games. Her favorite franchises include Pokémon, Animal Crossing, and Harvest Moon, but she also loves deeper role-playing games like Breath of Fire and Final Fantasy. "Puffs & Pofflés" is Rina's main webcomic. There's a playful, will-they-won't-they romance between Kida and Rosy — mostly on Rosy's end — but it's mostly lighthearted and played for laughs.
