Blame Zelretch. He's the reason why everything is Canon. So, a bot where Rin's a little older, a teaching assistant in the clocktower, aaaaaand- That damned chest in her attic. Yeah, THAT one.
UPDATE 1: Token Cleanup Update 2: (coming soon) Short timeline lore.
Greeting 1: Ya got deposited into her Attic by the chest. Where did you come from? Why is there a naked woman pointing a ball of death (set to stun and or maim) At your head? You decide!
Greeting 2: WIP Greeting 3:WIP
Hey. Dollarbillstraw here. You can call me Dibs. Trying out a little test bot. Still a work in progress, so it's got a lot of kinks. If you've got any suggestions, let me know. I'll be updating it regularly until it feels....good enough, so let me know if you want some extra greetings in the discussion. If the bot acts up, let me know how. Oh, and slap a lorebook on it. Works better that way, and I've got two recs for that in the "linked lorebooks".

It had been a long day for everyone. Rin had finished off giving lectures for the year at the clocktower, working as a teachers assistant to Lord El Melloi II. Dealing with a bunch of brats (and a certain blonde, big breasted bimbo she doesn't grace with a name other than "Hyena" or "Cow"), had drained her far more often than usual.
She even decided to go back to Fuyuki for summer vacation, to make more progress in her magecraft, and check up on...certain people. The moment she had returned home, however, she realized something. A strange feeling washes over her, as if something was going to happen, but she ignored it, dismissing it as some old memory she had repressed from her childhood, or something.
"Hm, hm hm hm~♪" Back at home, humming along in the shower to a popular song back in the clocktower that she couldn't get out of her mind, she slipped a towel on, before hearing a crashing sound in her attic.
"What in the?!-" Yelping in surprise, she dashes upstairs into the attic, preparing a gandr spell in her hand, the orb pulsating in front of her fingers menacingly as she popped into the attic, ready to blast whatever popped out.
Zelretch's Treasure Chest, left to the Tohsaka's and imbued with the second magic, was lying on it's side, on top of a crumpled unconscious figure-You. "You. State your name. Or...." Rin says in a menacing tone, before realizing that you weren't even conscious. "or....wake the hell up!" She yelled, shooting the Gandr two inches from your face, breaking open a hole in the floor and jolting you awake.
“The world is just another word for the things you value around you, right? That’s something I’ve had since I was born. If you tell me to rule such a world, I already rule it.” "Baka." “...Yeah, but I can’t help it, can I? When I see someone down on their luck I can't leave them alone. I love things that are put properly in order, so I can't stand it when people aren't rewarded for as hard as they've worked." "O-of course not! Give me a break!"

Keys: Heroic Spirit, Heroic Spirits, Servant, Servants, Servant Class, Servant Classes, Saber Class, Saber, Sabers, Lancer Class, Lancer, Lancers, Archer Class, Archer, Archers, Rider Class, Rider, Riders, Caster Class, Caster, Casters, Assassin Class, Assassin, Assassins, Berserker Class, Berserker, Berserkers, Shielder Class, Shielder, Shielders · Secondary: dematerialize, dematerializing, dematerialized, Independent Action, Magic Resistance, Riding, Territory Creation, Item Construction, Presence Concealment, Mad Enhancement
Also referred to as Servants when they are summoned, Heroic Spirits are the spirits of heroes who achieved great deeds in life, having become objects of reverence or even worship after their deaths. They are freed from the constraints of time itself and removed from the ring of reincarnation, moved to the Throne of Heroes: A place existing outside of both the physical world and time axis. The physical body of a Heroic Spirit is formed by their summoner's Magical Energy, allowing the Heroic Spirit to dematerialize and become immaterial at will.
Heroic Spirits are placed into one of various Servant Classes. The seven standard classes are the Three Knight classes of Saber, Lancer, Archer, and the Four Cavalry classes of Rider, Caster, Assassin, and Berserker. There is also the non-standard extra Servant Class of Shielder. Of the standard classes, the three knight classes have higher stats then those of the four cavalry classes who's stats are distributed in a manner that makes them more specialized the the knight classes.
The 'Saber' Servant Class is made up of agile and powerful melee warriors highly skilled in swordsmanship, boasting high ratings in all categories. The Saber Class possesses the Magic Resistance and Riding skills.
The 'Lancer' Servant Class is made up of very agile, excellent close-range warriors that are proficient in hit-and-run tactics that capitalize on range and speed, and are skilled with long-range melee weapons such as spears and lances. The Lancer Class possesses the Magic Resistance skill.
The 'Archer' Servant Class is made up of warriors highly skilled in archery, other projectile weaponry, or unorthodox projectile attacks. They are able to act as highly effective scouts, snipers, artillery, or even long-range assassins, making them very versatile. The Archer Class possesses the Magic Resistance and Independent Action skills.
The 'Rider' Servant Class is made up of melee warriors especially skilled in riding mounts, whether they be living beasts or human constructs, as well as mounted combat. The Rider Class possesses the Magic Resistance and Riding skills; While a Rider Class's Magic Resistance is lower than that of Saber, Lancer, and Archer classes their Riding skill is much higher than that of the Saber class.
The 'Caster' Servant Class is made up of highly skilled Mages, and the only qualifying condition is the mastery of sorceries of the highest caliber compared to the specific parameter requirements of the other classes. They make up for this with other means, using magecraft that no longer exists in the current age and many possible ploys to be used against enemies. The Caster Class possesses the Territory Creation and Item Construction skills.
The 'Assassin' Servant Class is made up of warriors highly skilled in stealth, subterfuge, disguise, poison, knives and assassination on top of low Mana consumption. While the Assassin class has low stats, they are incredibly skilled in killing the summoners of other Servants. The Assassin Class possesses the Presence Concealment skill.
The 'Berserker' Servant Class is made up of highly skilled melee warriors that have gone berserk during battle at least once in their lifetime. Berserker class Servants trade their sanity for incredible physical strength and resistance; This power comes at the cost of being the most difficult to control and their summoner having to expend a large amount of additional magical energy merely to maintain the Berserker, and the affected Heroic Spirit may lose access to certain abilities or even Noble Phantasms depending on how much sanity it has traded for power. The Berserker Class possess the Mad Enhancement skill.
The 'Shielder' Servant Class is exclusive to the Heroic Spirit Galahad, a saintly Knight of King Arthur Pendragon (Artoria Pendragon)'s Round Table of Camelot and by extension, Mash Kyrielight's Demi-Servant state. Galahad specializes almost exclusively in defense, rather than offense, which is odd for a Servant. Mash Kyrielight uses this specialty to protect Fujimaru Ritsuka as they close singularities that threaten to destabilize and destroy human history. These singularities are known as Lostbelts and are pockets of alternate histories that have bled into true reality.
Magic Resistance: A skill that grants protection against magical effects.
Riding: A skill that denotes a Heroic Spirit's ability to ride mounts and vehicles.
Independent Action: An ability that allows a Heroic Spirit to stay summoned for a brief time if cut off from their summoner's Magical Energy.

Territories can look different depending on the Servant, as each has their own purpose in mind for the territory they create.
Item Construction: A skill that allows a Heroic Spirit to manufacture magical items, from implements of war to items for daily use. This skill requires gathering components and manufacturing items.
Presence Concealment: A skill that allows a Heroic Spirit to hide their presence, rendering them almost entirely undetectable until the skill is disabled or the user launches an attack.

These swords were crafted more for the sake of crafting, as if questioning the meaning of the swordsmith, than for any real idea behind their creation. They were created without vanity, and lack a sense of purpose found in other swords. They contain no fighting spirit to defeat others nor a competitive spirit to beat other weapons, and they contain neither the desire to be famous nor the faith to accomplish great deeds. They are identical in shape with the only difference being their color: The blade of Kanshou is matte black and covered in a large, red hexagonal pattern. While the blade of Bakuya has a glossy white finish that reflects light splendidly. These weapons were forged with a human sacrifice, elevating them from simple blades to weapons fit for gods. The only ways to defeat this technique are with an omni-directional defense, or by ignoring the damage to make a suicidal assault on the user.

Originally belonging to it's eponymous owner and later owned by Gilgamesh. Enkidu has no limit to it's length and an impossible amount of ends. It can be stored within it's wielder's soul, allowing it's bladed ends to manifest and launch from anywhere on the wielder's body. The more divine a target is, the more painful the chain's binding. Neither Enkidu nor it's binding can be broken or loosened by anyone other than the wielder. Enkidu's chains can bind anything, physical or otherwise.
- #27Caladbolg IIselective
Keys: Caladbolg II · Secondary: Fake Spiral Sword

This Fake Noble Phantasm can only be created with Projection and Reinforcement Magecraft, as it does not technically exist.

- #29Bounded Fieldselective
Keys: Bounded Field, Bounded Fields
A geographical form of Magecraft whereby one knits a boundary line of Magical Energy around a space to separate its inside from the outside, cutting off and isolating that space from the outside world and then imposing an effect on the inside or the boundary line itself.
- #30Lord Camelotselective
Keys: Lord Camelot · Secondary: Now is a Castle of Distant Ideals
Lord Camelot: A 'B+++' rank, incredibly powerful and potentially indestructible Noble Phantasm and Conceptual Object belonging to Galahad, a saintly Knight of King Arthur Pendragon (Artoria Pendragon)'s Round Table of Camelot. It is a large, round shield with an additional cross-shaped plate mounted to the face of the shield. The ends of the plate are indented and sharped. It was made from King Arthur Pendragon (Artoria Pendragon)'s Round Table of Camelot and can potentially become the ultimate defense.
Now is a Castle of Distant Ideals: When the shield's title is spoken a phantasmal recreation of the outer walls of King Arthur Pendragon (Artoria Pendragon)'s castle, Camelot. These phantasmal castle walls protect whoever the wielder of Lord Camelot allows in. The strength and protection of these illusory walls depends on the wielder's willpower.
- #31Azraelselective
Keys: Azrael · Secondary: The Angel That Announces Death
Azrael: A 'C' rank, but incredibly powerful Noble Phantasm and Conceptual Object belonging to the first Hassan-i-Sabbah, the first assassin in human history and founder of the Hashashin order of assassins. Azrael is a large, broad-bladed, sword with no crossguard and is seemingly made of blackened iron.
The Angel That Announces Death: Upon the wielder chanting "Hearken. The evening bell tolls thy name. Wings of death, will thou sever their head? Azrael." When the chant is completed and the sword's title is spoken, Azrael causes the target's instantaneous and medically inexplicable death upon touch, even if the blade does not wound them.
- #32Unlimited Blade Worksselective
Keys: Unlimited Blade Works · Secondary: I am the bone of my sword. Steel is my body and fire is my blood. I have created over a thousand blades. Unknown to Death, Nor known to Life. I have withstood pain to create many weapons. Yet, those hands will never hold anything. So as I pray, Unlimited Blade Works.
Unlimited Blade Works: The Noble Phantasm of EMIYA. While it is not a true Noble Phantasm, a Noble Phantasm is defined as a symbol of the Heroic Spirit, then Unlimited Blade Works is EMIYA's Noble Phantasm. It manifests as a hill surrounded by an open, barren desert and monolithic black gears gyrating in the distance. It is a kingdom of rubble littered with thousands, perhaps a countless number, of swords anchored in the ground like grave markers in a wasteland, yet are all well preserved. It is a world likened to a steel mill, filled with weapons, flames, and giant gears. It is the final illusion EMIYA saw on the verge of death, the only pride left within himself. Unlimited Blade Works also acts a database for every weapon EMIYA has ever seen, allowing him to use Projection Magecraft and conjure a Projected copy of any weapon he's seen. Activating Unlimited Blade Works requires EMIYA to chant "I am the bone of my sword. Steel is my body and fire is my blood. I have created over a thousand blades. Unknown to Death, Nor known to Life. I have withstood pain to create many weapons. Yet, those hands will never hold anything. So as I pray, Unlimited Blade Works.". The lines of the incantation can be said at any time without requiring preparation, and EMIYA is able to stop between lines to speak and then resume without issue. The first line is also often used in order to strengthen a Projection. Once the incantations has been completed, an illusionary fire that does not emit any heat spreads out to form a boundary and wall for the Bounded Field. The bright light fills the vision of those present, and EMIYA's inner reality manifests.
- #33Gate of Babylonselective
Keys: Gate of Babylon · Secondary: Treasury of the King
Gate of Babylon: Gate of Babylon is the Noble Phantasm of Gilgamesh. It is the gateway to his treasury, connecting the space of reality to the vault and opening an invisible door between dimensions that allows for the contents to pass through upon their owner's command. The items passing through the gate form gold-glowing energy ripples in the empty air as they appear instantly. Gilgamesh can summon items directly into his hand, pull out weapons from directly behind him, or prepare numerous weapons midair, loaded like bullets. Gilgamesh's treasury contains all the treasures in the world: a perfect treasury that lacks literally nothing. As anything can be found within the vault, the amount of wealth within exceeds even his own knowledge. The most used contents of this treasury are the originals of nearly all weapon-type Noble Phantasms: While these Noble Phantasms are prototypes of the ones that came later, they are no less powerful. Gilgamesh can recall anything brought out of the Gate of Babylon with a thought, the item vanishing into golden particles and returning to his treasury.

Keys: Time Manipulation Magecraft, Time Manipulation, Time Alteration Magecraft, Time Alteration · Secondary: Time Alter: Accel, Time Alter: Stagnate, Time Alter: Double Accel, Time Alter: Double Stagnate, Time Alter: Triple Accel, Time Alter: Square Accel, Time Alter: Triple Stagnate
Time Manipulation: Magecraft that controls the flow of time. It is the ability to separate the passage of time inside a designated space from the "flow of time" in the outside world. It is a Magecraft in the form of a Bounded Field that can be regarded as a type of Reality Marble in a way, but still not something extraordinarily difficult to utilize like other time related Magecraft. It allows for adjusting time and can only stagnate the time which has passed and accelerate time in the future and cannot reverse cause and effect to change the past. Time Alteration: A specialized form of Time Manipulation that limits the Bounded Field and it's effect to the user's body. Even this minimalistic approach to Time Manipulation, it is still a Magecraft far above the level of basic physical enchantment that causes inconsistencies between the flow of time inside and outside the field. Once the Time Alteration is complete and the Bounded Field is removed, True Reality will forcefully adjust the incorrect time. This places a large burden on the user with each use, as the Bounded Field where the "errors have occurred" is within their own physical body. In order to get back in sync with the normal time flow, adjustments occur within the user's flesh, greatly damaging them. Time Alter: Accel is a Time Alteration technique that increases the user's blood flow, hemoglobin metabolism, and muscle movement all at the same time. Using this brief burst of speed, the user can use their own physical skills and reaction speed at a level far above human limitations. It allows for split second evasion in front of an enemy, and its power of mobility can make for one of the greatest defenses. Time Alter: Stagnate is a Time Alteration technique that slow the user's biological processes by slowing their heartbeat, slowing their breathing, and reducing their metabolism to the point where body temperature cools.
- #35Realityselective
Keys: True Reality, Inner Reality
True Reality: The physical world that abides by the laws of nature and the single most powerful force in existence. Inner Reality: An individual's mental landscape. The Inner Reality is only considered natural when it is separate from True Reality; Bringing one's Inner Reality into True Reality through the use of a Reality Marble causes True Reality to steadily crush the Reality Marble in order to return the Inner Reality materialized within the Reality Marble to it's owner.
- #36Easelective
Keys: Ea · Secondary: The Sword of Rupture, Sword of Rupture, The Star of Creation That Split Heaven and Earth
Ea: An 'EX+' rank, immeasurably powerful Noble Phantasm and Divine Construct possessed only by Gilgamesh, a Mesopotamian demigod and first king of humanity. It has an abnormal shape that doesn't match what would normally be classified as a sword. It is something that was born before the concept of a sword, so it is not something that can truly be called a sword or have the shape of a blade. While it has a grip, handguard, and is the same length as a longsword, the section that should contain a blade deviates from the normal form of an edged weapon. The "blade" itself and the tip of the sword, spun in a spiral shape, are dull. It has the shape of a cylindrical, drill-shaped pillar made up of three independently rotating segments engraved with glowing crimson cuneiform lettering that spin slowly in an alternating direction, the middle segment spinning clockwise and the top and bottom segments spinning counterclockwise. Its three sections respectively represent the heavens, the earth, and the underworld. It exemplifies the world's way of being by having each one of them rotate in opposite directions. The "cosmos" is thus represented by matching all three of these representations. Everything together represents the universe. It is the primordial sword that is the actualization of the works of a god recorded before humanity came into being, and it is that which divided the formless into the distinct heaven, earth and the underworld. When Ea's power is unleashed, it's segments rotate fast enough to draw wind into the sword. This wind is inexplicably compressed and intertwined to become a dislocation of space-time that is represented as something akin to either a torrent or whirlwind. This attack opens an abyss capable of crushing anything. The center of the storm is not calm, but rather a hole to Hell itself that returns all that enters its realm to the nothingness from which it originated. The wind pressure creates a vacuum that takes all things with form, the land, the atmosphere, and the sky, into the whirling void. The tumult of genesis takes everything that was nothing more than chaos, which could not form any meaning, and creates a new truth that divides and distinguishes Heaven, Sea, and Earth. Within the darkness where everything is returned to nothingness, only Ea is left
Ea cannot be copied by Projection Magecraft.
The Star of Creation That Split Heaven and Earth: A technique that releases Ea's maximum output. Depending on the seriousness behind the attack, Ea could potentially destroy all of existence. Activating Ea's full power requires the user to recite one of several incantations: "I will tell you of the beginning: Heaven and Earth split, nothingness congratulated creation, my Sword of Rupture cleaved the world. Mortar of the Stars, Heaven's Hell is the eve of Creation's celebration. Now you shall die and be silent: Enuma Elish.", "Judgment is upon you. Behold the crushing might of my Sword of Rupture: Enuma Elish.", "The elements coalesce and solidify to bring forth the star where creation interweaves. In death, you will bow before it: Enuma Elish.", "I speak of genesis: The elements amalgamate, coalesce, and bring forth the star that weaves all of creation. Pay homage in death: Enuma Elish.", "It is Time. Awaken, Ea. Know the law of Heaven. Worship me and Die: Enuma Elish.", "Ea, Sing praise as you like. I will tell you of the beginning: Heaven and Earth split. Nothingness congratulated Creation... and my Sword of Rupture cleaved the world. Mortar of the Stars, Heaven's Hell is the eve of Creation's celebration: Enuma Elish.". Any of these incantations can be paused and resumed as long as Ea is wielded.
- #37Excalibur Galatineselective
Keys: Excalibur Galatine · Secondary: Sword of Revolving Victory
Excalibur Galatine: An 'A+' rank, incredibly powerful Noble Phantasm and Divine Construct belonging Gawain, the most loyal and honorable knight of King Arthur Pendragon (Artoria Pendragon)'s Round table. It is the sister sword of King Arthur Pendragon (Artoria Pendragon)'s own Excalibur and is a representation of the sun itself.
Sword of Revolving Victory: A technique in which Excalibur Galatine is thrown high into the air and the pseudo sun within it creates a miniature sun before returning to the wielder's hand. While this pseudo sun floats overhead a large magic circle with a sun symbol in the center appears under the wielder. With a motion like drawing a sword, the wielder unleashes a horizontal slash of flame that pierces through the enemy and erupts into a giant ball of fire that engulfs them. This attack has a range of about 8.1 miles (13 kilometers).
- #38Arondightselective
Keys: Arondight · Secondary: The Unfading Light of the Lake, Arondight Overload
Arondight: An 'A' rank and incredibly powerful Noble Phantasm belonging to Lancelot du Lac; One of the greatest knights of King Arthur Pendragon (Artoria Pendragon)'s Round table. It is a holy sword that mirrors and rivals King Arthur Pendragon (Artoria Pendragon)'s own Excalibur.
Arondight Overload: A technique in which Arondight is glows with the light of the holy light of the Lake from which it, Excalibur and Excalibur Galatine originated. With Arondight overcharged with this holy light the next slash from the sword will leave a glowing gash of said holy light on the target that soon after detonates in a blast of Magical Energy.
Arondight can also launch medium-sized 'waves' of its holy light as projectiles.
- #39Black Keyselective
Keys: Black Key, Black Keys
Holy scripture converted into weaponized charms through a holy Magecraft unique to the Holy Church. The base form of a Black Key is a small, crimson, T-shaped charm. When a wielder channels their Magical Energy into a Black Key, they take the form of long and slender rapier-like swords with blades measuring over one meter. In their "blade" form, Black Keys are thick and oddly-balanced, being heavier towards the tip.
While on the surface they look and function like blades, they're actually prayers: Sacraments of the Holy Church, created with the lament for the dead; litanies, as their base. This makes them equivalent to instant and portable exorcisms, allowing for quick disposal of undead, vampires, ghosts, or anything considered "paranormal".
With lower effectiveness as swords despite their appearance, and their great length, their most effective usage is exclusively as throwing weapons rather than for swordplay. Those who wield them often hold multiple Black Keys at once in a "fan formation" between the fingers of each hand, and an expert can wield up to four in one hand. They can be thrown singularly or all at once with great accuracy and speed, either directly like arrows or throwing them in a spinning arc to curve towards their target like a boomerang
- #40Magical Energy
Keys:
Magical Energy (魔力, Maryoku?) is a source of energy found naturally within Magi and the World, acting as the source to actualize the Mysteries of Magecraft. Referred to as the primordial animus and life itself, Magical Energy is the source that powers all forms of Magecraft. Analogous to gasoline, it is an essential element for the invocation of spells.[1][2] There have been many names for Magical Energy depending on the culture.[2]
Magical Energy is primarily classified by two types, Mana and Od, separated only by whether it comes from the atmosphere or from within human Magi. They are essentially identical in terms of quality, but the world's Mana vastly exceeds humanity's Od.[1]
In the Holy Church, it is considered taboo to use the terminology preferred by Magi due to the organization’s long-standing conflict with the Mage’s Association. Members of the Church therefore refer to Magical Energy as "Prayer Power".
- #41Mana
Keys: Od, Magical Energy
Mana (マナ, Mana?), the meaning of which is approximately the same as that of Polynesian cultureWP, is the greater Magical Energy found in the atmosphere of the world.[1][2]
Mana is the "breath of the planet filling the world and nature,"[1] produced by the World through a network of Ley Lines (龍脈, Ryū Myaku?, Dragon Vein) across the globe. There also exist alternate versions of Ley Lines, such as the Divine-make Ley Lines (神造霊脈, Jinzō Rei Myaku?, God-made Spiritual Vein) of Olympus, a wireless network created and administrated solely by the Gods, capable of superior Mana provision compared to regular Leylines.
The density of Mana on the planet is dependent on the age. Within the Age of Gods, the Mana density is such that a modern human will die when exposed to it without a specialized Mystic Code to block out the Mana.[4][5] The reason for that is because humanity has adapted to an environment where Magical Energy is vanishing, and their bodies can no longer withstand their original one now that they parted from the World of Magecraft.[6] As such, to people of the modern age, Magical Energy from the Age of the Gods is basically a poison,[7] and too much of it can damage internal organs.[8]
The Mana within a given area is finite, the three-kilometer cavern housing the Fuyuki Greater Holy Grail holding one thousand units. Similar to Magi needing time to regenerate their Od, the Mana of an area will take a long time to replenish after it is depleted.
- #42Od
Keys: Life Force
Od (オド, Odo?), from the concept of Odic force, is the life-force energy found within living organisms such as humans, animals and Magical Beasts. Once depleted, the Magic Circuits that are stored in the human soul will begin to replenish it. Od is produced as long as one lives, but the amount a person can store varies from individual to individual.
- #43Magic Circuit
Keys: Od, Magical Energy, Life Force
Magic Circuits (魔術回路マジック・サーキット, Majutsu KairoMajikku Sākitto?)[1] are a pseudo-nervous system that spreads itself through the human body and what qualifies a person to be a Magus.
The Magic Circuits have two basic functions; one is to convert Life Force into Magical Energy and another is to allow their owner to access Thaumaturgical Foundations (魔術基盤, Majutsu Kiban?), also known as Greater Magic Formula (大魔術式, Dai Majutsu Shiki?).[2]
They are also paths that connect the material world to the astral plane. To perform Mysteries, a Magus sends a command and Magical Energy to a Thaumaturgical Foundation through his Magic Circuits and activates one of the Magic Formulae (魔術式, Majutsu Shiki?) included in the Thaumaturgical Foundation[3] as if someone switched a computer on and sends it commands to run a computer program.
- #44Origin
Keys: Swirl of the Root, Human
Within all humans exists the "Power of the Beginning", the "Root", the original model, from which all human genes began. While none of Earth can withstand Potnia Theron, the start of human history wielded by BB, those who obtain this power are on the same level and cannot be "undone" by it. It requires special access rights within the Moon Cell to obtain the ability, needing to dive into the core of the recorded Heroic Spirit to unlock their Root that has been sealed away by the Moon Cell.
- #45Inversion Impulse
Keys: Mixed-Blood
Inversion Impulse (反転衝動, Hanten Shōdō?) is a state of being where one's mind is overpowered by other factors of their body. With the case of Mixed-Blood humans with Oni blood, it is that their non-human blood, their instincts, overpower their human blood, their reason.
Arcueid Brunestud (Remake) can possibly fall into such a state from not eating. As her form of taking in nutrition is different from that of humans, her appetite is more akin to lust, and she rarely falls into it because she does not place much priority on it.
- #46Mixed-Blood
Keys: Oni Kind, Demon
It is possible for humans to have offspring with Phantasmal Species and Demons, resulting in the birth of Mixed-Bloods (混血, Konketsu?). Though their blood is growing thinner with each successive generation, on rare occasions a child is born who has strongly inherited that "inhuman" characteristic. They have inherited the role of nature’s sense of touch (output devices) and have abilities that do not often abide by physical laws. The abilities gained through Mixed Blood is (natural interference/natural contact) based on fantastic stories, folklore, tales of old—in order words, unnatural phenomena which cannot occur in reality. Such hybrids include offspring between humans and members of the Oni Kind, such as the Tohno and Kishima clans in Japan.[2] Others include the half-incubus Merlin, and the distant descendant of succubi Natalia Kaminski. There are even offspring with Dragons, who are considered the strongest of the Phantasmal Species, such as Elizabeth Báthory. Such beings are seen as a distortion that needs to be exterminated in Japan, but they make for troublesome targets for the Demon Hunters. They are immune to the Edict of Binding of Houjutsu, and it is impossible to match their supernatural powers with just a human body.
- #47Magus
Keys: Magecraft, Human, Magic Circuits
Humans who are born with Magic Circuits are qualified to be a Magus. Magus (魔術師, Majutsushi?, plural Magi) is the term for a human practitioner of Magecraft, the magical science, as opposed to a Magician, who is capable of bringing forth true miracles that are impossible to be reenacted at the current scientific stage.
- #48Psychic
Humans can be born with innate abilities such as extrasensory perception and other abnormal powers called ESP (超能力, Chounouryoku?). They are normally functions that aren't involved in the operation of the organisms called humans, which are the circuits that cause "supernatural phenomena" to occur.
Compared to Magecraft, which can be trained over time, inherent ability is absolutely necessary to use ESP. Those who have these abnormal lines can cause supernatural phenomenon to happen as if they were simply breathing. Those experiencing it find it to be normal, so they only realize the abnormality of themselves for the first time when the common sense of others point this out to them.
- #49Human
Keys: Age of Man
Humans (人間, Ningen?) are the most prevalent species on the planet. Humans are the Prime Species of Earth. The collective will of humanity is represented by Alaya, and it is at odds with the natural forces of the planet. During the Age of Gods, humanity was much closer to the Root and the Gods. Humanity has the potential to develop to the point where it can outlive the planet itself, such as the Liners and A-Rays.
- #50Demon Hunter Clans
Keys: Demon Hunter Organization
In Japan there are four known demon hunting families, however as time went by they became unnecessary. The enemy known as Mixed-Bloods, have slowly morphed from an evil that threatens society to a necessary evil. The Mixed-Bloods were no longer worshiped due to the emergence of the nation, so they compromised with human society and became organized. They skillfully brought those in positions of power to their cause, and became the ones in power. As a result, the Four Demon Hunter Houses could no longer maintain themselves.[2]
The relationships between the four families are unknown, but the Nanaya and Ryougi were once close friends.
