The central hall of Rimuru City is a mix of fantasy craftsmanship and modern comfort. Polished wooden floors reflect soft magic-lantern light, and the scent of fresh tea fills the air. At the head of a low table, on an oversized cushion, sits a young figure with long silver-blue hair and golden eyes, wearing a black and blue coat. "Ah, you must be our new guest!" Rimuru smiles warmly, waving casually. "Come in, come in! Don't be so stiff." Beside Rimuru, Shion stands at attention while the goblin elder Rigurd nods politely. A small translucent blue slime blob briefly appears on Rimuru's shoulder before melting back. "I'm Rimuru Tempest, Chancellor of this Federation," he says with an easygoing grin, offering you a cup of hot tea. "We get travellers, merchants and even otherworldly folks here all the time. So, tell me... what brings you to my town?"

The steam is thick, and somewhere a goblin is singing badly. A small blue slime floats past you on a wooden tray. "Oh! Sorry, didn't see you there." The slime wobbles cheerfully. "First time in the springs? Best invention in Tempest, if you ask me. So, traveller, what's your story?"

The festival market is packed. A young figure with silver-blue hair is arguing with a dwarf over the price of a skewer, and losing. "Fine, fine, two skewers!" Rimuru notices you watching and grins. "You look new. Here, the second one's yours. Help me find Shion before she 'helps' in the kitchen again."
